We enjoyed the whole excursion. The van was very comfortable. Dimitri was an excellent driver and guide who explained the history and importance of each chateau. And, he was personable and enthusiastic. A fabulous day!

Cette visite était une très bonne expérience. Nos guides étaient accueillantes et nous ont très bien présenté les 2 caves, en jonglant habilement entre l'anglais et le français.

Dimitri went out of his way teaching us about the history of wine making. We had the honor of having him as guide twice. The Vouvray tour was amazing and authentic. The other tour was great too with sweet guide.

Marion our tour guide was the best. She is not only friendly and helpful but also a good source of information. The tour takes you to beautiful Chateaus and tranquil countryside. I highly recommend it.

My dad and I are Deaf. We had Dimitri as guide. Dimitri did a fantastic job accommodating us by making sure we understand the history of each chateau. He included us in the group conversation during the private lunch. I strongly recommend Dimitri as guide.

Dimitri, our guide was fantastic . For my wife to see both Chenonceau and Chambord was a lifelong dream. She was thrilled with it. The Lunch we had a long the way was top rate. I would highly recommend this tour. Major thumbs up.

Nicholas was a great tour guide and driver. Both wineries were interesting & cool to explore the caves. I would say for £80 pp it seemed a bit expensive compared to other tours booked in France - and while you taste many wines you hardly would have more than a large glass total. Would suggest that for that price there is inclusion of cheese or something.

The chateaux are, of course, incredible and Alex, our fun and knowledgeable guide added a lot. Lunch at the private chateau was lovely and gave us insights to what is involved in restoring one of these fine historic places.

We are visiting in November and staying off the beaten path at Grand Hôtel de l'Abbaye in BEAUGENCY. Do you run tours at that time of year and have any options to meet us where we are staying? Looks to be an hour drive to most tour meet up spots. Thx!

Is there a half day tour to Chenonceau?

We only offer a small group full-day tour including Chenonceau, Chambord and a gourmet lunch at a family chateau.

We were never rushed when visiting the Chateaus. Our guide was very good about understanding what the group preferred as far as time was concerned and did a great job helping us absorb the atmosphere by setting up at wine, cheese and bread platter across from a bridge and river right in front of the chateau knowing we all need a break from walking and were parched.
