Company now owned by "A la Francaise ! Champagne" so I am leaving the same review there, and here as well since this is who we booked with and perhaps other tourists are seeking out Cris-Event.
This was an excellent tour meeting expectations for my wife and I. We learned a lot about the champagne making process and the region in general. Our guide Martin spoke near-perfect English, was extremely knowledgeable answering everyone's questions the entire time and had a great sense of humor making the tour entertaining throughout. He also is a great photographer. Over the span of 4.5 hours we toured 2 small producers and we were able to sample 6 glasses of champagne total. You are invited to purchase products while on-site but without any pressure. Driven around safely in a large van with another group and this was nice to meet others also on vacation. Easy online booking, clear instructions (look for "A la Francaise" van though at the train station). No snack provided as advertised though.

Spent the morning on a private tour of Taittinger so we were looking forward to cruising the countryside to see even more in the process. The tour was great, tasted some great champagnes, shipped some home and got to see the disgorgement in process...fascinating. Tour guides great, other passengers fun and the 2 houses we visited were different and informative. Downside..water..water! There was one small bottle per person and lukewarm.
Pack a small cooler but a couple bottles in for each guest. It was a warm day with drinking..hydrate! A small snack, baguette, cheese something would have been great too!

We worked with Cris Event to personalise a full day tour for our group of 18 including children. They were so accommodating with all of our requirements. Kathy our guide for the day, was brilliant in her knowledge of the region and the whole champagne making process. She certainly made sure we tasted very different champagnes and our lunch was delicious! A very professional and easy to work with company!

We reached out to Cris Events about their willingness to have the tour with a toddler brought along for the ride. They were SO accommodating from the very beginning! Confirmed that children were more than welcome and that there would be a car seat in the tour vehicle. Our tour guide, Cathy, was amazing and took great care of both adults and children. I would recommend this to any families traveling to the area!
Note: We booked a group tour, but ended up being the only family on the tour. This allowed for a very private tour. I would highly recommend that families wanting more flexibility book a private tour!

We went at the end of October on a morning tour of Reims, doing a visit to the Taittinger cellar and one another small producer. Our guide Angelica was lovely and had great knowledge of the area, history, and production of champagne, having worked in the vineyards herself for many years. She was so funny and engaging, and as if champagne production was not already interesting on its own, she made it even more enjoyable with her energy and passion. It was a beautiful morning with 4 tastings, and couldn't have left any more satisfied. I would suggest allocating time to explore the cathedral and the surrounding areas on your own after the tour. Such a charming place. Well worth the booking!

We went with a very professional and friendly guide Henry for a champagne afternoon tour. Really worth the money. Henry , who himself has worked with the champagne production, did a superb job. Highly recommendable!

I took a half day tour from 2pm with Martin. He was a lovely guide and took care of all of our needs in the group. I would highly recommend Martin and this tour for a great day out of Reims and into the country.

We took the half-day tour in early September. Our guide met us at the Tourist office at the train station, which is very convenient for those who want to make this visit a day trip from Paris. (TGV takes 45 minutes from the Gare de l'Est) We joined 6 other people for a total of 8. The minivan was very comfortable. Henry, our guide, was fantastic. He was English, but spoke fluent French and most important was very knowledgeable about French culture, history, and especially about Champagne. He gave great explanations of the making of champagne and answered all our questions. We visited the grave of Dom Perignon in a beautiful chapel and then 2 small producers where we had tastings (3 types in each place), as well as traveled into the vineyards themselves. We weren't rushed at all and really got a sense of the traditions and the work that goes into making champagne. I had already visited some of the big houses, and must say that I learned more and appreciated this visit of the smaller producers more. We highly recommend Cris-Event and especially our guide Henry who could not have been better! A memorable day. Well worth the price!

Do you offer personal tours for 4 people? We are looking to see the Champagne region, stop and do some tastings (don’t want a tour of a house) have lunch and pass by the highlights of the region? Do you offer tour guides for this and what would be the cost? We would prefer a 6-8 hour tour.

We did a half day tour. on this you will be picked up and then go to vineyard . There after visit 2 wine making places one small and other big with machines. you will also visit underground cellar. In both the places you will taste 4 kinds of champagne. cost is 60 euro I guess. you can find this on their site

We found the price to be fairly similar, its probably best to just ask for a quote. It is a lot of money but it was a special occasion and the whole experience is excellent. There's no way we could have done, learnt or enjoyed it as much by ourselves. It's worth noting that the lunches on both days were very good ( dietary restrictions accommodated very well too) and the meals and some drinks were included in the price. If you drink more obviously there would be a added charge. It also includes very comfortable transport door to door and between all the Champagne houses, and there's a fair amount of beautiful countryside covered in the Reims area. If you can do it, I'd definitely recommend it.
