My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our small group tour with Marco. He was very knowledgeable, kind and engaging and was clearly passionate about the champagne making process. The visit to the caves was interesting and included an art installation. Following the tour, we enjoyed a tasting in a lovely salon. The small group experience was ideal for asking questions and conversing with fellow travelers. I highly recommend this experience.

The entire family loved our tour of Ruinart, even my husband for whom champagne “tastes like a headache”. The elegant grounds, the breathtaking art, fascinating champagne making process, the elegant tasting, and our REMARKABLE guide, who made the day particularly special for everyone aged 17-89.

I expected from this visit a few more magical things!! Places not festive lighting!! A splendid store yes with your rates quite high!! A rather sober cellar visit without a glass of champagne offered!! I did RUINART on Paris two years ago 5/5 but there on the house RUINART I preferred its competitor POMMERY cheaper visit and prettier to visit with a free cup!!! sorry but that is the reality

We were in the basement to make a visit and tasting with our family. We made the reservation in advance.
Then we visited the basement and met the methods of making the champagne, after which we conducted the tasting. The visit was enriching. It was worth it. Congratulations. I recommend

We had hoped for more from visiting the crayères of the oldest champagne house. The reception in the impressive premises was very friendly, but the tour unfortunately seemed quite uninspired compared to other wineries in the region. The subsequent tasting was particularly annoying: Two good champagnes were served clearly too warm. On our advice we were told lapidarily that this was not possible otherwise due to the high outside temperatures. Given the price of 75 euros per person, a weak performance.

By far the best champagne house visit in Reims (and we’ve been to many)! We were lucky enough to get a private visit with our guide Cara, who was very knowledgeable about the wines and most of all the oldest champagne house! She made the visit so special with her warm welcoming nature and kept my husband and myself enthralled by her passion for the champagne, the most beautiful caves and her fascinating recount of the creation of champagne and Maison Ruinart! Plus we had a choice of vintage and more recent tastings of the wonderful Ruinart champagne, perfect! I’ve never known 2 hours pass so quickly.
A must if visiting Reims!

Was quite a disappointment , prepaid 5 course lunch menu including 2 glass of champagne ( see website ), unfortunately it was only 4 courses and a glass of champagne, the rest costs everything extra. Food was very manageable, lukewarm and not a great revelation. Service was also just average. So the “ experience ” is not fun , you feel pulled over the table. Only the champagne, it tastes very good. You don't have to be.

Too bad we got to this winery in full renovation with workers working everywhere.
the Guide who does not speak half a word of Italian, ok for English but certain technical terms you can not know and then the tasting lying on a sofa being careful not to spill the wine now.

Although there is still lots of building work going on around the Maison, due to finish October 2024, which doesn't make for great viewing nor hearing, it didn't spoil our tour. Thanks to Morgan for showing us around. The cellars truly are worth visiting and I loved the collaboration with the artists especially the light shows down in the cellars themselves. The champagne tasting was of course great but wished we were able to taste some of the Vintage to see whether it is really worth spending extra on.
