Our wine tasting day was one of the highlights of our holiday. Dominique was incredibly knowledgeable not only about wine but also about Corsican culture, history and landscapes. I would wholeheartedly recommend Corsica Wine Tours for an amazing trip.

We had a fantastic time on Dominique’s tour. He had incredible knowledge of both Corsican wine and culture. As wine beginners, we were made to feel very comfortable and able to ask lots of questions. This is a must do if in Northern Corsica for a few days. 2 very beautiful vineyards with delicious wine!

Dominique was well informed and very personable. He had a lot of interesting facts to share about Corsican culture/ history and was very knowledgeable about wine as well. He made wine tasting very approachable and fun. The views from the car ride were incredible. Dominique also provided us with great recommendations for other parts of Corsica.

Our family of four (including 18 and 20-yo daughters) had such a wonderful experience on our Corsica Wine Tour. We did the Cap Corse wine tour and Dominique customized the tour to include an extra stop at a Patrimonio winery. His experience living in multiple foreign countries (USA, England, Japan) really lends itself to connecting others to the unique culture and landscape of his home country, Corsica. We appreciated his ability to conduct the tour in English, and we learned so much from him about the history of Corsica, the terroir, the wine, and the culture.

This was my favorite experience of the trip! We went to two wineries, toured Sartène, and learned about Corsican history. Truly incredible and unforgettable. Can’t recommend enough

Dominique was an extremely knowledgeable, friendly and courteous host. He took us on an afternoon tour to visit two different wineries, and told us a huge amount about the history of Corsica on the way. It was a brilliant opportunity for us to see more of the island, and I will not forget the wonderful Patrimonio wines in a hurry. Quite simply a perfect afternoon!

Corsica Wine Tours organised two full-day wine tours, into the Patrimonio and Cap Corse wine areas of Corsica. The tours and tastings provided an insight into local wine making and production, as well as historical and geographic context which enriched our trip to Corsica. For our outings in particular, Dominique kindly customised the tours to include specific producers (upon prior arrangement) and ensured the availability of vegan food options throughout both days. Dominique’s attention to detail and friendly manner added greatly to the experience.

We had the best time with Dominique and Corsica Wine Tours! His knowledge of Corsican history, the local vineyard practices, and regional wines really made the tour come alive. We left with a great appreciation not just for the wine but the people and history of the area. It was also wonderful to taste some really great wines of the Patrimonio area. I highly recommend Corsica Wine Tours and would happily take another tour! Thank you Dominique!

Dominique hosted a great wine tour for our family (5 adults). In a mini van, we were picked up perfectly on time at our own vacation home. He drove us safely though the area, while telling beautiful historical stories about the island. We stopped at a viewpoint, where we could overlook the vine yards, after which we drove to the vine yards itself and got a tour. After the vine yards, we drove to the local wine maker, where we were offered 9 (!) wines for the tasting. Dominque is a lovely host: very kind, knowlegdeable and fluent in English.

We took a half-day wine tour of Calvi, visiting 2 wineries in the region. Dominique was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and generous with his time even when our tour ran a little longer than planned. He is clearly well-known and well respected based on the interactions he had at the wineries. He was even able to get us a tour of a very recent winery, the only one with a chateau in Corsica. We met the owner, got a tour, had a long and interesting discussion that covered a range of topics, and even had a beautiful charcuterie and cheese board with the tasting. A genuinely fantastic experience, made all the more so by the incredible landscape. I would not only recommend the tour, but plan in taking another the next time we visit Corsica.
