For the past 20 years, I have often stayed in hotels in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, and the nearest station to Metro line 8, Ecole Militaire, has an ever-pedestrian shopping street called RueCler. (Goods can be transported by truck.)
It's fun to just stroll around with all kinds of fine shops and casual food/delieries, cafes, bistros and restaurants. It is also helpful to be able to send postcards to Japan immediately as there is a post office.
★ It is a safe and peaceful city with military academies and government offices.
★The Eiffel Tower is firmly in view.

For us the centre piece, (main attraction) of this area is the Eiffel Tower, (when we get up close and personal with this architectural Goliath we are always in awe), coming in second is the Musée d'Orsay, (home of the impressionists), this has to be the best museum in paris in our opinion, the area is wonderfully walkable, we love to walk down Rue de l'Université waiting for the iron lady to show here, on the way back we walk down the seine, which is so peaceful and enjoyable, Stopping at Archipel des Berges de Seine Niki de Saint-Phalle, which are 5 floating gardens with sun lounges to enjoy a picnic on, this is truly an impressive area.

The 7th arrondissement of Paris is probably the only one that can be seen from any arrondissement, as it stands here and the Eiffel Tower sparkles in the evening. The most popular site of Paris, France, and probably the world, was built for the World's Fair by the engineer Gustave Eiffel as a temporary structure. At the time of the tender, Eiffel was already a well-known engineer for the construction of mainly bridges (Maria Pia Bridge in Porto and Pedestrian Bridge in Girona). Structurally, the tower is not very different from the bridge. The tower, which is 320 meters high and weighs 10,000 tons, was assembled by just 300 workers from 8 kinds of parts in just 26 months! It was a demonstration of the power of the metallurgy and engineering school of the Third Republic. The genius of the Eiffel was to build a surprisingly light tower. If it was proportionally reduced to 30 cm, it would weigh 7 grams! Compare how much the smaller souvenir towers traded by Africans at the foot of the tower weigh 10 times! Initially, Eiffel's creation aroused aesthetic opposition among Parisian intellectuals. Maupassant is well known for saying that he only feels good on the tower because it is the only place in Paris where it is not visible. However, the Parisians voted francs. 2 million visitors paid off construction by 3/4 in just one year. Escaping the temptation to visit the tower is probably given to few. Here one must follow the French saying: the best way to conquer passion is to yield to it. For example, I visited her three times: once, with my wife and daughter. Where to climb: to the second level or to the end - everyone decides for himself. Species do not differ fundamentally. From the tower, you can view the entire 7th district for better reconnaissance. Right under the Champ de Mars tower. The site became historic much earlier: in 1783, the Mongolfier brothers tested the world's first balloon. Beyond the field, the Military School is Echole Militer. It is closing the headquarters of UNESCO. At an acute angle to the Champ de Mars there is another wide esplanade - the Houses of Invalids. The house was built under Louis XIV. The Sun King fought constantly, almost non-stop, and not everyone died immediately after belle France (see the comedy Fanfan Tulip). This place was conceived as a hospital and an orphanage for veterans. There are two churches outside the House of the Invalids - one for soldiers and one for the King. Both are creations of the famous architect- Jules Ardouin Mansard- author of the Grand Palais and Trianon at Versailles. However, the main thing here is the grave of France's chief commander, Napoleon Bonaparte. The red granite of his sarcophagus came from Russia. Napoleon's remains were brought from St. Helena in 1840 under Louis Philippe, when many soldiers and officers of the Grand Army were still alive. In addition to the memorial and funeral theme, attention should be paid to the Army Museum. In the rich exhibit how uniforms, weapons, insignia are supposed to be. There is the first French Renault tank and a lot of World War I weapons in general, which the French won and fewer World War II weapons, which they lost (at least when they fought themselves). In the exhibition there are Renault taxis, which were requisitioned in total in Paris, and with which the French were able to transport troops to the Marne to stop German troops in 1914. That's how motorized troops were born, by the way. In the exhibition there is also the famous Soviet 45 mm, which went all the way from Brest to Berlin. Another important museum in the county is very close by on the rue de Varennes - the Rodin Museum. Museums devoted to the work of individual artists rarely have rich exhibitions (for example, the Delacroix Museum). By the time of fame, they tend to sell out major masterpieces on the side. It's a different matter here- Rodin allowed copies to be made while he was alive, so in the rue Varennes there are both the Citizens of Calais and the Gates of Hell and his opus magnum, The Thinker. Almost a complete retrospective of creativity. Further down the street, you can see Matignon Palace, the residence of the French Prime Minister. Or rather, the gates of the residence. The chic mansion, at various times owned by Talleyrand and the Austrian Embassy, was nationalized after World War I. One day a month - the first Saturday of the month - you can visit. In fact, the county is filled with top bureaucracy. On the promenade of Orfevre, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sometimes called that. The nearby Bourbon Palace is home to the lower house of the National Assembly, and the Ministry of Defence is diagonal to it. If you go any further down the promenade, you'll find the second Paris-Orsay museum. The museum was inaugurated in the Paris-Orleans station building by architect Lalou, which was opened, like the Eiffel Tower, also for the World's Fair, but already in 1900. When Parisians realized that the station right in the center of the city was not a comme il faut, the station was closed and the building decided to demolish. It was saved from demolition by President Pompidou, who accepted the idea of locating a museum of fine arts there from the Revolution of 1848 to 1914- the beginning of the First World War. Pompidou was named after the Museum of Modern Art. The museum's collection is large, but unlike the Louvre is foreseeable. Opened in 1986, Orsay is the sixth most visited art museum in the world and the second in France after the Louvre. Not only is the museum's collection interesting, but also the design inside, authored by the famous Italian designer Gae Aulenti. One of the Italian woman's clutching "chips" is a cafe with a terrace overlooking Montmartre through a huge station clock dial. The collection is based on Impressionists and Post-Impressionists. Quantitatively, it is the largest collection in the world, but not for all artists. Huge collections of Monet (86 paintings!), Renoir (81), Degas (43), Courbet (31), Manet (31), large van Gogh and Gauguin - 24 paintings each by my beloved Toulouse-Lautrec (18 paintings). The collections of Delacroix (5 paintings) and Engras (4) are unimpressive compared to the Louvre. Matisse, Klimt, Mondrian are represented occasionally. This structure of the collection is explained by the logic of its formation - gifts from patrons and the tax system of France, when inheritance tax was paid by the heirs of painters in paintings. Foreign artists might be attracted to Whistler's Maty. Remember the movie "Mr. Bean"? Well, and, of course, we need to see the most scandalous Gustave Courbet painting of its time, "The Birth of the World." Not only is the Courbet painting interesting, but also the reaction of visitors to it... Perhaps these sites can be limited to familiarity with the 7th arrondissement, especially the lines everywhere. With a specific taste, you can also visit the Sewerage Museum near the Alma Bridge. The visit involves travelling through a real cloak under the appropriate smells. I really wasn't there unlike the above, but if there's a research interest, pourquoi pas?

It is the area where the Eiffel Tower, the iron lady, is located, the most visited paid attraction in the world, and it is definitely worth climbing to the top.

This is where you come to see the Tour Eiffel, the primary site in this part of town. Otherwise this is the highest income area of Paris so be prepared for grand apartment building with big apartments. As a result there is litte life on the street and this is not a good place to hang out in cafes. Also you will find some old mansions here that have been converted to embassies and government offices.
