During my visit to Paris, I crossed the Jena Bridge, which connects the Eiffel Tower to the Trocadero over the Seine. Built in 1814 under Napoleon I, this bridge symbolizes the French victory at the Battle of Jena. With its impressive sculptures of warriors, it offers a pleasant walk and magnificent views of the surrounding monuments.

Next to the Eiffel Tower comes this bridge over the Seine.
From there many attractions and boats depart through Paris... it is nice to cross it and the views everywhere... if you go to Paris you can not stop coming and crossing it

Located between the Debilly footbridge (upstream) and the Bir-Hakeim bridge (downstream), it connects Chaillot Hill and the Trocadero Palace to the Champ de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. It owes its name to the victory of 14 October 1806 of the French army, commanded by Napoleon I, over the Prussians. This is why it is decorated (in addition to 4 statues of horsemen) with imperial eagles, removed during the Restoration and then returned to Napoleon's remains ("ashes") in 1840 (under Louis-Philippe). The bridge was widened in 1935 in preparation for the 1937 World's Fair.

* The bridge directly in front of the elegant gigantic Eiffel Tower
* Great photo opportunity when walking

* There is always traffic and people stand in the middle to get their photo
"I VISITED THIS PLACE"
... when I walked from Trocade to the Eiffel Tower. despite the cold and early hour, there plenty of those walking and bicycling and cars and tourists trying to get that perfect photo 📷 (present company included)
WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
Yes- it is free
WOULD "I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN?
Sure- seeing the Eiffel Tower close-up is fantastic
ADVICE
Go and do it, but watch the others walking, bicycling, the cars and others trying to do the same think of gawking and photographing

One of the Parisian bridges that goes unnoticed due to its location and passage between the majestic and imposing Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero gardens.
The bridge takes its name from the Battle of Jena.
The bridge is very well decorated by imperial eagles and in the corners of the bridge you find four sculptures of warriors (Gaul, Greek, Roman and Arab), these sculptures are later.
It was ordered to be built by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1808 and it took 6 years to build. It has 5 arches and 4 pillars, 155 meters long and 32 meters wide.
It is impressive how the image society risks its life to take a photo in the middle of the road, with the Eiffel Tower in the background...

This functional bridge is not all that distinguished. No special design here. The best feature is the view you get from the middle, the Eiffel Tower and the Modern Art Museum. Lots of traffic.

This bridge over the Seine River was ordered to be built by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1806. Made of stone, with five arches. It measures 155 meters long and on the sides we can see imperial eagles. Four sculptures of different warriors with their horses adorn it. We crossed it to go from the Eiffel Tower to the Trocadero Gardens.

Bridge which crosses the Seine and allows you to go from the tower to the Trocadéro Gardens. Very busy place. The view there is incredible.

Besides the Bridge being beautiful itself and a representation of Napoleons reign it is the best way to take pictures of the Tower.
The tower is completely enclosed at the base and only access to it is to buy tickets to walk it or elevator, but if that's not in the cards; walk over the bridge ~ plenty of sidewalk space towards the Palais de Chaillot for the picture perfect view.
Plus there is a cute souvenir shop that has everything you would need right at intersection from bridge going to Palais on right side and great prices.
