The walking tour of Montmartre was extremely enjoyable and we were lucky to have Cecilia for our guide. She was witty and so full of knowledge about the places she brought us to see. Just a word of caution… be prepared for a good workout walking uphill but you’ll be rewarded with an amazing view from the Sacre-Cour Basilica at the top!

I had a wonderful morning with Cecilia and a very multinational group of fellow travellers (some in pairs and other solo travellers like me too). The tour was a 2.5hour gentle stroll round the streets if Montmatre, with stops along the way to take in the history, culture and magic of this very individual area of Paris. Cecilia was very knowledgeable and engaging in her talks at each stop and was able to answer every question we had ... I would definitely recommend this tour with Intrepid Travel.

We had a fabulous tour with Paloma. She was friendly, knowledgeable and informative but also great fun. She answered our questions and responded well to what we were particularly interested in. The tour was just what we wanted, key highlights but also unusual places off the beaten track. 5 stars - highly recommended

If you are lucky enough to have Paloma as your guide then you are pretty much guaranteed a great time. There were only three of us on our tour (plus Paloma) and so that made the tour even better as well. Paloma showed us many interesting sites and did not hurry us at all, allowing time for photographs where needed. Paloma''s local knowledge was clear to see and the tour was well worth the money we paid.

My group of four booked a small group tour, which (lucky for us) turned out to be a private tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant, sharing all sorts of local insights regarding history, architecture, and food. We'll come back and do another tour with Paloma someday!

we had an excellent private tour of the Marais. this was our second tour of the Marais and were surprised by the changes in the past 10 years. our guide was very informative regarding the history of the Marais as well as its current dynamics. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wishing to learn more about the neighborhoods of Paris past and present.
