I take the bus regularly on the line Lyon- Grenoble. So far I alternate between the two bus companies. Lately: a lot of delays in BlaBlaBuses. I even had a bus 30 minutes late with a driver who didn't speak French... As 2 people were missing he waited another 10 minutes... So 40 minutes late in the end... And no excuses from the driver on arrival. The other company is more punctual. So I'm gonna stop alternating...

We booked tickets for four persons well in advance for the Geneva to Milan trip. The travel duration by train was not of a big difference but was much cheaper.
A early notification was received via email to advise and confirm departure time. The coach departed on time and was comfortable. The Bus Driver spoke mainly Italian which I understood and there was one break, adequate enough to straightened our legs and have something to drink and eat.
The overall experience was satisfactory but a bit of commentary all along, even pre-recorded ones, would have made the trip more interesting.

To flee!!! I had made a Reservation for today Friday, September 6, 2024 for a trip from Paris Vincennes to Montpellier. I had to take the bus at 11:55 and arrive at 11:20 except that the bus was shifted to 6:50. In all sincerity really avoid this company because it has no professionalism. Just disastrous.

DON'T HIRE HIM. SCAM!!!!!. hired from argentina several sections for my daughter's trip through europe. already go 2 micros that do not appear left them hanging. They won't answer the phone. Other tickets had to be bought. DISASTROUS. You call the only phone they give you and they won't answer you

He thinks it’s a bad car and a bad seat and he says to go. Your vehicle and seat are unknown for the last time. It gives to bad vehicles and empty seats. Three to five decks of sheep, don’t get this bullshit

My son had to take a trip from Marseille Airport to Nîmes.
There were still a large number of seats on the bus.
He thought he could buy his ticket directly on the bus or via the app directly. Impossible because the bus was 30 minutes late and no longer appeared online. So no reservations possible... Ok
So the driver refused to pick up my son and 6 other passengers.
Conclusion:
In fact, Blablacar prefers to drive almost empty and leave people on the forecourt rather than fill his bus and thus cushion this trip in a better way.

We can say, this crazy world is losing its pedals...!
Blablacar leaves me speechless...

I start by saying that the bus was full of people coming from a festival in the middle of the mud, me and my friends included, so all broken people. Picked up at 8:10 in the morning, with 12 degrees outside, the driver turns on the air conditioning, leading the bus to reach a temperature even lower than the outside. Everyone obviously had to cover up with jackets or sweaters. What's more, the bathroom did not open at all, so it was not accessible. The journey took longer than it should and was not pleasant at all.

Hello, I would like to write a comment to warn other passengers hoping that what happened to me does not happen to them too.

After a first trip towards Paris I have to change at Paris Bercy. 20 min before Check-out a suspicious baggage alert is heard in the station and soldiers order us to evacuate the area immediately. All passengers outside the buses are therefore obliged to leave the station.

After 30 minutes of waiting and unanswered inquiries on our buses, an employee of the guy explains that we have to go through another entrance to reach our buses. We're following him.

Here we find that all our buses have left and those even without a huge part of passengers.
No information message from Blablabla Car, if only to tell us that buses will leave without us.

I'm trying to contact customer service, without success.

Also, if a trip is not taken the ticket is supposed to be automatically moved to the next bus.

So I'm waiting for the next bus going to my destination.

Now the drivers can't find me on their list, according to them.
They then ask me to pay "a new ticket" which amounts to 60€. There I try to discuss this with them, they decide after consultation to lower the Award to 40€.
However this money was not used to buy a new ticket and that I understood, but I had to go home.

I get on the bus and the driver tells me that at the next stop I have to get off to withdraw money if I want to continue the trip (it's 11pm , I'm a single girl with a big suitcase, on a highway area), obviously I do because this was the condition to get on.

Once the money is withdrawn the driver rolls the money and keeps it in his wallet. There were several of us in that case. It to extract money from many passengers in this way.

I was quite prepared to pay a new ticket to board the bus the problem is that I did not see with my own eyes if I was not on their passenger list, they decided for themselves the Award of the ticket, and gave me no justification.

The money that I and others gave was actually for them.

I was extremely shocked by their mob behavior, their lack of empathy towards us and the radio silence from customer service.

My bus had to travel Barcelona Toulouse in 4 hours. But we were delayed for 4 hours by the Spanish police on a motorway area after Gerone because the second driver was not in good standing on his rest hours, until blablacar agreed to pay the police fine. Arriving in Toulouse 4 hours late (by the way the driver did not want to open the toilet...) I had no way to go home to Bergerac, my blablacar was long gone. My son had to drive 5 hours to pick me up..In compensation, blablacar generously offers me 10€ because the bus left well on time!!!!! Company to flee!!!

I recently traveled from Vienna to Munich with BlaBlaBus, and it was, without a doubt, the WORST travel experience I've ever had. I don't normally write reviews, but this experience was so appalling that I feel compelled to warn others.

First, the bus arrived 90 minutes late for the pickup in Vienna after starting from Budapest. No explanation, no apologies, and absolutely no effort to make up for the delay. When we finally boarded, we were met with drivers who spoke only one language – which I believe was Hungarian – and they were not only rude but also borderline racist.

We were all given seat numbers, but no one followed them. When new passengers boarded and asked about their seats, the drivers literally dismissed them and told them to find seats on their own. There was no organization, no assistance, just chaos.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the air conditioning didn’t work for most of the journey. People from the back had to come forward multiple times to ask for the AC to be turned on. The onboard toilet was another nightmare – it was overflowing, filthy, and unusable. There was urine on the floor, and the toilet seat was disgusting. My wife had to endure this horror, and it’s completely unacceptable.

To top it all off, the bus arrived nearly 2 hours late in Munich. Instead of taking us directly to the bus stop, the drivers took a detour, de-boarded the bus, and new drivers got on to continue the journey. This added unnecessary time and frustration to an already miserable trip.

I don’t expect much from European customer service, but this was beyond the pale. All four of the drivers were at least 60-65 years old, and frankly, their behavior was reflective of outdated attitudes that have no place in today's world. If BlaBlaBus expects to compete in the modern market, they need to retrain their staff and start treating their customers with basic respect and decency.

Lastly, as per EU law, if a bus is late, compensation should be offered. But of course, nothing of the sort was mentioned.

Avoid BlaBlaBus at all costs – you’re better off walking to your destination than subjecting yourself to this kind of treatment!
