Yes there are books for all ages. When our boys were younger they loved buying books at the Shakespeare and getting the signature stamp. They still have a stamped copy of the Hunchback of Notre Dame from their first visit.

Shakespear and Company Book Shop, sells mainly english books. Herge and its Tintin boks were originally published in french so it should be easier to find it in a local bookshop somewhere in Paris rather than at the Shakespear book shop.

Yes the books are in English. They have a wide selection of second-hand book, which are of course quite cheap. New books are rather expensive ( you could the same books cheaper online). Howwever it depends on the book you're buying. I spent a lot of money here but, with the quality of the books and the in-shop experience, I don't regret any of it!

Yes definitely there's loads of modern books and theres a tray out the front with second hand bargains too.

Yes, there are children's books, but it is not a large Barnes & Noble-y kids play area book-reading section. This is a super-cool, old school bookstore that has some amazing books, old and new favorites, and something for every bibliophile. Definitely take a peek! :-)

Yes, they do! They have many signed books. Look up their website and you will see a section of some of the ones they have to offer... Sorry for the late response!! I never got a notification.
