Yes it’s a really lovely area which isn’t too commercial and filled with tourists which is why I loved it so much. A beautiful shop to visit is Merci

Beautiful any day of the week. We just loved the experience of the neighbourhood waking up and seeing the district come to life on a Sunday. A truly Parisian experience. Magnifique.!

Hi. The Marais is a really old area, mostly left undisturbed by develoment. So hotels are few, and mostly very chic period accomodations. So either go AirB&B, or stay for example in the 9th arondssement. Many nice hotels (relatively speaking of course) in the price range you indicate. It could be fun to pick one in one of the "passages", if they have availalbility. But beware, they usually don't have restaurants. And from there you can reach the Marais in a short metro ride. Conversely, you can do the same by selecting the Bastille area on the other side. More hip and culturally diverse, within a short walk of the Marais. Have fun!

Check out air bnb, but you may have to go with more than 1 apartment as alaincK27 mentioned big spaces will be pricey. Also the 11th arrondisement borders Le Marais and is less expensive so another possibility.

I am not sure if that particular store is there but the area is full of lovely costume jewelry stores selling every style you can imagine.
