It was top nice cozy driver.

16-08-2024 3 days Paris. Boarding place Beek / Elsloo far too cumbersome / too small, they could have done better (the back of) Sittard / Station spacious space for buses. We had a great, friendly, very helpful bus driver (Sjef T from Kerkrade). Paris is not a suitable city for walker ed curbs are far too high. B&B hotel way too small, not cozy and nothing to do. People wait too long in line for breakfast and breakfast far too meagre. This one is certainly not worth repeating.

The driver could not speak a word of Dutch and hardly any English, all that was said was: 45 minutes break.
The city tour that was supposed to take place did not take place.
We arrived in Paris at 8:30 am and were dropped off along the public busy road.
So the driver had been handing out the tickets to everyone without looking at who had booked boat tickets on the Seine.
Because we were one of the last to get off the bus, the tickets were gone, even though they had already been paid for. The driver had also given the tickets to the people who had not booked the boat trip!
The Paris Poche ticket, which Snake Travel claimed was still in force, was nowhere to be obtained and we were not helped with it in Paris.
The driver was more than half an hour late in the evening.
Not to mention the 'luxury tour bus'... It was so incredibly cramped (and I'm not tall) let alone someone taller than me. If the backrest of the chair in front of you is moved back, I literally sit with my legs behind my neck. And that was more than 9 hours in the bus...
The air conditioning was on all night long, both on the way there and back, so it was really cold. Just like the house music that was on all night, and no one could sleep a wink!
This was my first time as a traveler at Slangenreizen, and also the last time!
It's much better to just take the train or car, because it didn't seem like this was organized by a company like snake travel.

An extremely friendly and helpful (Croatian) driver, who did not speak a word of Dutch and barely 4 words of English, was on time. There is nothing to criticize about that. This makes communication very difficult.
Arrival in Paris around 8:30 am, but there was no time for a tour as indicated, because the driver had to continue to Disneyland. Shame. Driving times are stretched quite a bit in this way... until something goes wrong and the driver is blamed again...
The tickets for the pre-purchased tour with the boat on the Seine were not yet available because the ticket office did not open until 10 am and the driver therefore still had to go to Disney. It's strange that as a customer you have to make arrangements with other passengers to try to collect your tickets together. And the boat had a shortened route due to high water. The carrier had already known this for a week, it is a pity that Slangenreizen did not pass this on.
The return journey departed around 9 p.m., so plenty of time for a city tour. Travel time for us was 9 hours.
The seats in the full bus are very tight, family members between 1.85 and 2.05 m cannot sit straight without getting stuck with the seat in front, let alone moving the backrest backwards.... So where are those luxurious, comfortable buses? deployed...?
4x tickets, seats next to each other, shortened boat trip, weekend allowance, fuel allowance, SGR allowance, disaster fund, etc. total € 400. for 4 persons.

Very satisfied. Questions were answered very quickly. Our driver Carlo was really great. Very friendly man. Up for a joke and a chat. Took good care of his passengers. Knew a lot about Paris. Much was possible in consultation.

Very well organized trip. Good hotel and friendly, knowledgeable driver.
Everything was well arranged and there was plenty of time to explore on our own.
The driver "Roger" knew a lot about Paris, which was very nice.
The next trip is already planned to London with Slangen.

A day trip to Paris with Snakes Travel. Boarding point Roermond was changed to Eindhoven the week before, that is the only downside...the bus was clean, seats are a bit small but good, our Croatian driver Daniel was really great. We were dropped off in Paris at 10am and picked up again at 9.45pm. Started in the pouring rain, after a few hours the sun was shining and it was very hot.
After another stop at the illuminated Eiffel Tower, Daniel gave us the choice...a city tour through night-time Paris or home...because it had been a long day, we opted to go home. Daniel is a really nice driver, in terms of communication and driving skills. Snake travel, it was a really great day!

We really enjoyed our 4 day trip to Paris/Eurodisney. Compliments to the great driver Angelo, with his dry humor 😅! Despite some problems with the substitution in Eindhoven, it was otherwise super organized, partly because of him. There are some tight seats, but that's the only thing. Ibis Hotel 👌, with a very cozy restaurant/bar. In short, TOP!

The bus journey was comfortable.
The drivers, Esmeralda and Karl (I thought) were friendly and knowledgeable.
We had 3 beautiful days in Paris and 1 day in Disney.
Only downside was the hotel. Beds were comfortable, but don't think much cleaning is done.
Clean (I hope) towels every day

Prima 3 daagse reis naar Parijs gehad. We hadden een ingehuurde chauffeur van Van den Broek tours uit Mill. Een aardige man die goed zijn best deed om iedereen het naar de zin te maken. Chauffeur was op tijd op de afgesproken plaatsen en moest dikwijls wachten omdat mensen daar zich niet aan hielden. Gelukkig verloor de beste man zijn geduld niet. Reis was goed met voldoende stops. Hotel was gezien prijs/ kwaliteit ook goed. Veel gezien dankzij de behendige kroattische chauffeur.

Ik heb een 3 daagse trip geboekt naar London voor de verjaardag van mijn beste vriendin.
Begin december hebben we gereserveerd voor eind feb vertrek donderdagavond , aankomst zaterdag ochtend, zondag middag vertrek ,maandag nacht weer terug in nederland.
Hier hebben we een verlof dag voor ingeleverd.
Pas een week van te voren kreeg ik een email dat de boeking was gecanceld vanwege te weinig aanmeldingen. We kregen een alternatieve reisdatum ,en excuses , ook was het mogelijk om maar 2 dagen te gaan. (Dat hebben we geaccepteerd ) Erg jammer want het was te kort voor dag om dit nog met mijn werk te wijzigen. Ik heb wel het verschil in bedrag terug gehad.
Omdat wij al reserveringen en planningen hadden heb ik 3 x klantenservice aan de lijn gehad om precies te weten hoelaat hoelang waar en wanneer en alle andere details. Ik heb meerdere malen gevraagd of ik het adres van het hotel mocht en of het in de stad was ivm boekingen voor tours enz.
Mij werd toegezegd dat het hotel in de stad zelf was en ze nog geen precieze adres hebben omdat ze dat lastminute boeken.
LEUGENS
1 dag voor vertrek kregen we een mailtje met alle gegevens van het hotel etc. Ik keek en het was in Harlow 1 uur en 20 min vanaf Victoria Embankment waar je dus word afgezet.
Om 21.00 word je opgehaald en naar je hotel gebracht. Wij wilden op zaterdag avond uitgaan in de stad.
Ik heb gelijk weer gebeld en gevraagd of ze dit wilde wijzigen ergens dichtbij het centrum zoals er geadverteerd word.
Dat kon niet wel ,werd mij ge adviseerd om anders zelf een hotel te boeken ( dit heb ik gedaan EIGEN KOSTEN hun hotel is niet vergoed ) ik ben woedend omdat dit FRAUDE is . Oplichters . De jongen van de klantenservice vertelde dat zij bandjes opnemen en als dat mij toegezegd is dat ze dit gaan oplossen ik kreeg snel een mailtje dat ze de bandjes hadden afgeluisterd en dit niet zo is. Ik heb gevraagd of ze mij de opnames kunnen sturen en of wat er dan wel precies is toegezegd en dit werd genegeerd.
Conclusie
- bereikbaarheid van de klantenservice is goed maar je hebt er helemaal NIKS AAN.
-Bus - opzich schoon
-De reis was te doen
-Als je boekt en je levert een vakantie of verlofdag in dan hoor je pas een week van te voren of dit door gaat. Dus reserveren en vooruit plannen voor activiteiten restaurants etc in Londen zijn risico’s omdat ze dit zomaar cancelen
-Naast dat je in totaal 26 uur minimaal reist mis je 3 uur en zit je in de middle of no where in een hotel
- reizen met de bus is niet erg maar ik zou hier nooit meer boeken
- LONDEN is geweldig
- Slangenreizen doet waarde aan hun naam.
- ik heb een hostel geboekt midden in de stad Westminster Smart Hyde Park View Hostel voor maar 71 euro een 2 persoonskamer ( dit verschilt maar 20 euro met de prijs van de hotels die zij aanbieden Holiday Inn Express Harlow ) Holiday Inn Express Slough of Ibis stevenage
