Potentially a beautiful park, but they have poorly maintained it and opted for lots of stone and gravel and few plants. In the corner near the cathedral a botanical garden that is moderately maintained. It's too bad.

Unplanned walk in this garden and beautiful discovery.
It is nice to walk there to land. Especially with this strong heat, the vegetation offers us a little fresh air.

Visit on March 3, 2024.
Beautiful gardens on several levels going from the cathedral almost to the Vienne. It is the animals and characters from the Luminous Odyssey, but not illuminated during the day, which give an additional attraction to these gardens with few flowers at the beginning of March. But the place is worth a look, for what it is and for the view of the Vienne.

If you are looking for a family walk with a magnificent view of the Vienne, the gardens of the bishopric in Limoges are the ideal place.
The paths there are very pleasant and offer a peaceful and green setting behind the cathedral.
The gardens are well maintained and have plenty of benches for resting and enjoying the view.

C'est ouvert toute la journée effectivement et l'accès gratuit. Par contre, il y a des grilles à l'entrée. Donc, je pense que les horaires sont les mêmes que celles de la cathédrales? (fermeture vers 19h?)
