4.00 euros pour la grotte = 17.50 euros par personne pour le plus beau panorama des Pyrénées à deux pas du centre ville de Lourdes, il offre un belvédère à 360° sur les sommets Pyrénéens, la ville de Lourdes, le Sanctuaire etc ...... un sentier avec son environnement champêtre vous conduira jusqu’à son sommet à 948 mètres d’altitude.
Dommage pour certain prix un peu élevé autrement sympa à faire.

Always great to be up a mountain and with the Pic du Jer it's very easy to get into the funicular and be up there fairly quickly soaring high into the fresh Pyrenean air, watching Eagles take flight and being able to view the sanctuary of Lourdes below. It can be quite a breathtaking experience

Bonita subida en un centenario teleférico a un pico que te ofrece unas vistas espectaculares. Arriba un pequeño restaurante es el perfecto complemento para después de subir a la cima.

Did this with my friend, not really knowing what to expect. The views are breathtaking.
The ride up and down is enjoyable but what makes the ticket worth the price is the panoramic views of the surrounding area below and the Pyrénées mountains in the distance.
There is a beautifully situated café at the top and a further walking path to take you to the summit.
It was wonderful to look down and see eagles flying. Would definitely recommend.

Spectacular Views! We bought tickets for the funicular at the Pic du Jer ticket office. Beautiful sunny day, so it was a perfect time to visit. After getting off the funicular, it was an easy hike (really walk) to the summit. We sat at the summit for a while just taking in the gorgeous views. We ate lunch at the restaurant located at the top, again with the views! Worth the time to visit!

This is a mountainside funicular and viewpoint attraction at Lourdes. The funicular was built in 1900 and transports passengers around 1.1 km to the top of a mountain (950m) where you find some light hiking grounds and lots of viewpoints in all directions. The ride lasts around 15 minutes and runs every 20 minutes in both directions. Return ticket prices are (€9 per adult) and can be purchased at the ticket booth in the lower terminus building.
Near the upper station there is a small cafe, hiking trail around the peak and grotto (not open when we visited). There is also a cycling trek which descends down the mountainside. Views of Lourdes and Pyrenees Mountains and surrounding countryside are very good from the mountaintop. The funicular ride up and down is a fun way to travel and good family-friendly activity for those visiting Lourdes.

Olá, gostaria de saber se a subida após o Funicular é adequada para idosos com certa dificuldade de caminhar. Se há muita irregularidade no caminho, degraus ou desníveis e se é muito longo para chegar ao alto. Deve levar água para beber ou há restaurante?

Hello , sorry for my late reply. The climb to the top of Pic Du Jer is for fit people who are used to mountain walking. Older people who are not fit can take the funecular train. This is also a nice experience. In the top of Pic Du Jer there is a restaurant.

Nous envisageons d'effectuer l'excursion au Pic du Jer ce mois-ci mais avons, parmi notre petit groupe, des personnes qui ont des difficultés pour marcher. Quelle est la distance à parcourir par le sentier de promenade pour atteindre l'observatoire ?

Bonjour Madame,
En réponse à votre demande, nous vous informons que le sentier botanique est distant d'environ 500 mètres ( 1km aller/retour) soit environ 30 minutes de marche en tout.
Il y a environ 60 mètres de dénivelé entre la terrasse panoramique et le sommet.
Le sentier botanique est aménagé (bitumé) jusqu'au pied du sommet ensuite ce sont des marches taillées dans la roche à franchir (une bonne quarantaine mais pas très hautes) pour arriver jusqu'à la Croix(le sommet).
L'observatoire n'est plus accessible mais néanmoins vous profitez de la vue à 360°C.

Buenos días, Adeline.
La altitud es de 1000 m accesible para niños también. Puedes usar el funicular o una ruta a pie pero con más desnivel. No recuerdo el precio para niños. Adulto, subir y bajar 12€. Si usas el carrito por el camino hay tramos con muchas piedras. Con el funicular sin problema. Las cuevas son accesibles.

Si esiste un bus . La partenza è davanti la porta San Giuseppe (Saint Joseph) del Santuario ( la grotta) dove si trova il chiosquo. Línea S4 . C'è un pulman ogni mezz'ora dalle 9.30 alle 18.00.
