We visited the Commonwealth war graves as part of our private tour with local guide Fred Debuisne. We were very happy that he included a visit here during the tour as we had just visited Somme area in France. Fred was able share detailed information about this site and we would have missed much of the important information had we visited on our own

Nice cemetery this - if a cemetery can be called nice. Nicely laid out and with a fitting monument - RIP those poor boys of the BEF who never made it home in 1940.

Wenn man sowieso in der Stadt ist lohnt sich die kurze Autofahrt. Man kann 2 Straßen weiter an der Seite parken.

Beautiful and moving memorial to the fallen on the outskirts of Dunkirk

Mémorial et cimetière à aller voir si vous êtes de passage dans le coin, le calme permet de se souvenir d'un passage douloureux de la 2eme guerre mais aussi de la 1ère. . L'accès est facile, le long de la route .

Er is langs de weg een parkeerstrook, waar je even kan staan om de begraafplaats te bezoeken. Je herkent het direct aan de twee Engelse vlaggen. Het blijft altijd indruk wekkend al die grafstenen. We waren er langs gegaan vanaf de pont uit Dover en het was al aan het schemeren. Net nog mogelijk om wat foto's te maken en rond te kijken. Goed onderhouden zoals gebruikelijk is.

It was end of the day when we arrived at this war cemetery. This part of the war grave is not big, but well kept. We could still see the graves and the main building in the middle of the cemetery as it was also full moon. It's a short visit but worth it.
