De moeite waard zeer proper en gratis toiletten op strand met vriendelijke dame.
Middagmaal genoten zeer lekker in restaurant Liguane op de dijk en mosselen gegeten 10 euro goedkoper dan Belgie met room en look.

On a beautiful day ☀️, we spent the day there
Obviously a lot of people.
Which makes it difficult to park.
Very nice seaside
Lots of restaurants that look nice (we ate at Zeebar 😋👍)
Guarded beach.
Toilet of the tourist office very clean and free.

A little disappointing as we didn't really find much of interest here. There is apparently a memorial to the Dunkirk evacuation but if there was it wasn't signposted. Parking was difficult if not impossible. Lots of places to eat were packed and service was really slow.

amazing soft white sand and really warm sea. just busy enough to be atmospheric but there is plenty of space and it is not crowded. nice restaurants and you can eat with your feet in the sand! someone sold me some sunglasses

Very nice beach, unfortunately the whole town of Malo is dirty, dog poop and smell of urine on every corner!
People to educate and lack of ability to live (pregnant with music on the beach, people who talk screaming...not great to rest).
One person even did his needs in front of our car... pity because the place has potential.

First walk in the
North and very pleasantly surprised. A huge beach , you will not be bothered by neighbors. The sea was calm , cool not very clear qund even but to walk in the

Very nice visit to the beach of malo les bains.. magnificent houses along the pier of the belle temps..one of the most beautiful beach of northern France..very nice cabins of colorful beaches..not too crowded when I visited it..sold by spray and albatrosses in sound background..😍😍🌅🏖️⛵

Hello Everyone. I have booked to come to Dunkerque in August with my husband 2 children - 12 & 14 for 4 days.
A lot of the comments below seem to suggest that the weather can be quite hit and miss so I am wondering how much there is to do indoors if the weather is quite bad that you would recommend to our family.
Multiple comments seem to suggest restaurants are not open before 12 and then others say that the restaurants are closed between 2 and 7. Can someone please clarify this for me?
We were thinking of travelling to Eperlecques in addition to seeing Dunkerque itself. Can anyone recommend anywhere else within a 30 minute drive which would be worthwhile visiting.
And lastly. My daughter has informed me that she wants to try L'escargot while we are there. Is there a "best" place to go for that?

Dunkirk museum is the best , but we found a lovely town nearby in Belgium I think it was called De Pann, which has lovely shops and cafes on the beach , there is a indoor swimming pool with flumes great for a visit ,which we past on the way to the centre, also there is a tram that you could go on for the children we found it so nice and so friendly , hope I'm not to late in answering back , have a great time
