Visiting the Meukow proved to be a more than happy choice. Refined environment, customer care, full availability and courteous friendliness. Our Guide (Maxim) was able to illustrate -in impeccable English, with originality and great passion- the history of the Meukow company, as well as the entire Cognac production cycle. The only negative flaw (so to speak): at the end of the visit and after the ritual tastings, you will be so excited to buy so much of that Cognac to fill not one, but at least two cellars...

Great visit from Meukow to Cognac
Very interesting Guide that perfectly tells the history and operation of the house
Tasting is most interesting, with the Guide explaining how cognac should be tasted to appreciate its flavor
For 12 euros per adult you will have the opportunity to taste VSOP, XO and one of the three Meukow liqueurs.

Very informative visit to this family home. We feel good, the atmosphere is great. You can even enjoy an XO at the end. The price of Cognac is correct, superb quality. the bottles are beautiful. Even small bottles to offer at affordable prices. Simple atmosphere and authentic tradition. Go ahead! we advise you

We had a tour of the company at 10:30. The young lady who showed us around was very well informed and spoke with a lot of knowledge about the production process of Meakow Cognac in the various cellars. She also gave a good explanation about the different types of Cognac they produce and the associated target group. We ended with a tasting of a VS, a VSOP and a Cognac-based Liqueur. Very nice.
Afterwards we had reserved lunch in their restaurant Chai Meakow. We had a delicious meal there. We started with pâté en croute, followed by a divine cote de beuf and then cheese and an apricot dessert. Espresso and a Cognac, after which we were ready for a siesta at 3 p.m. You must book well in advance for this.

We visited Meukow on behalf of our company and we have to say that it was definitely worth it. The food in the on-site restaurant was particularly outstanding! A good mix of traditional and modern dishes!

Wow what an amazing place to visit. Our tour guide Marine was outstanding in her presentation and knowledge. She was friendly whilst professional. Some tours can be a bit heavy but this one had the balance right, informative and interesting. Tastings finished off the tour perfectly.
Thankfully we had booked lunch in the beautiful restaurant, chef Cedric produced innovative and creative dishes that were delicious. Pierre looked after us, he was attentive and extremely professional. Thank you for the wine recommendation, it was a perfect choice.
Both the tour and lunch was exceptional value and I would not hesitate to recommend both. We purchased a bottle of good cognac to remind us of a wonderful experience.

While passing through Cognac, I was able to visit several large houses that day. I particularly loved visiting the Meukow house, which for me was above the other visits/tastings that I have done. Our guide was fascinating, his explanations were very clear and precise. The venue was beautiful and modern. We were able to taste 2 very good cognacs and 1 liqueur under the wise advice of our guide.
This is a visit not to be missed! Go there without hesitation!

Excellent guide speaking perfect English. Cognac represented by the panther on the bottle. The cognac is truly super. The visit was interesting and after the tasting we stopped in the restaurant inside Meukow. Truly an excellent choice. We ate very well for lunch in a relaxed environment. Perhaps the best meal of our holiday. Compliments.

A quality welcome and a pleasant and educational visit on the secrets of cognac making.
