We thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon dessert/wine walking tour with Julien. He was an absolute delight - both informative and entertaining. The food and wine were delicious. I appreciated that we got to learn about small businesses in the area. Julien was great with communicating prior to the tour. He also provided recommendations for dining, which we appreciated. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic morning spent with Julien and Avignon! I learned so much about Avignon's rich history while sampling delicious food and tasting local wine. Julien is a true local who brings you along while he makes his rounds in and out of local establishments (many of which he has his own key). Everybody in town knows him, waves and smiles. Croissants, chocolate, coffee, tarts, wine, and a gourmet lunch at the market featuring all kinds of local delicacies! Definitely the highlight of my time in Avignon! Not to be missed!

We enjoyed a fantastic tour of the city with Julian, he was extremely knowledgeable of the city and we learnt about lots of history and culture of Avignon and the surrounding areas.
The food stops were high quality and unique - places we wouldn’t have thought to go but are very glad we experienced!
Particular highlights were the St Christian pastry and coffee and the chocolate. As well as, of course, all of the wine!
Julian was the perfect host, his English was fantastic and we would highly recommend this to anyone else on their first day in this city.

Julien is a very enthusiastic guide who loves Avignon. We really enjoyed how Julien shared not just his knowledge of food and wine, but his knowledge of the local history during the walking tour. Highly recommended.

Our food and wine tour with Julien was really excellent, one of the best tours of its kind I have taken…he mixed in a bit of painless history with all the information about food and wine…really enjoyable

Booked this tour because a friend took it two years ago and said it was so good and it was. Julien not only gave a great tasting tour he also gave a very interesting history of the area. I'm in my late 70's and as a walking tour the pace was very easy with plenty of stops along the way. Eat a small breakfast because there is so much to taste on this tour-pastries, chocolate, coffee, wine and ends with lunch at the market with a variety of samples from the market sellers. A great experience.

Julien adds color and life to what would be a great tour and makes it magnificent. His humor, history, and love and pride of his hometown makes this tour exceptional. One could potentially find the gems that Julien shows you, but his knowledge of the city and the artisans that make Avignon unique make for a magical tour of the city's intimate nooks and crannies. Ate. Laughed. Thoroughly enjoyed.

The tour is amazing. I have done a few of those in various places and this one stands out. Julien is funny, entertaining and informative. He takes you to good places and he will make you laugh. Highly recommended. Best to do this at the start of your visit to Avignon as he will share some good tips and references you can use during the rest of your stay. Julien covers the culinary landscape but he also has good sense of the history of the city and the customs as well. He grew up in the city and has good grasp of the local situation.

Hi Sue from New Zealand. Along with the chocolate and wine there is a good variety of assorted food for everyone's wants and needs. You shouldn't have any problems sampling the locals favorites as we did. Hope you enjoy your time in Avignon. I would be interested in how your tour went if you decide to go.
