Walls painted throughout the city share the spotlight to illustrate mythical scenes and icons of cinema. From La Croisette to the old town of Le Suquet, these works of the 7th Art offer another way of seeing the city: R2-D2 and Mickey, Fred Astaire whirling, Bourvil and Funès moping, Batman and Superman watching for the villains, Belmondo and Depardieu. Nice and well realized.

Beautiful paintings paying homage to cinema in Cannes and its history. They are located in several buildings in the city and have a tradition similar to that of Lyon (cradle of the seventh art). Anyone walking through the city is worth stopping and enjoying.

Fantastic painted mural near Cannes harbour that celebrates 100 years of movies. It's good fun trying to guess the various stars. Take a photo and there are new bits you'll spot afterwards e.g. Tarzan, Jane, Cheetah on the roof

Only managed to see 2 of these amazing paintings which are located on the walls of some big buildings. Really brings the home of festivals out.
