Well clearly I share my recent reviews the park is completely abandoned, no sense of visit, that's just if it checks the tickets at the entrance, the windows are so dirty that you can no longer see the few animals that there is briefly no need to say more was not going to let it close that it is sold and that these animals are well maintained

Too bad, very disappointed. Beautiful plants, beautiful trees but no maintenance. The greenhouse is dirty, the terrariums dirty and lacking in maintenance.

Certainly the park is abandoned... but it is far from the worst...
We only stay at worst an hour in this sonic hell near the airport in a deafening din of endless takeoffs and landings of planes.
I left with my ball in my belly thinking of these poor animals, some of whom cling to the fence of their cages, very small, that can only undergo noise pollution at the limit of the bearable. It is impossible to find rest in this place bordering on animal abuse. Shame on the city of Nice which prides itself on being among the green cities of France... It is far from the image of Epinal proposed on the dedicated site.
How can we entrust such sensitive wildlife to humans with little concern for their well-being? I'm just outraged and sad about these poor beasts....

Whilst venturing around Nice, waiting for our tram into Nice Port, we always saw this rather unappealing, dirty looking, odd shaped glass building. Upon checking, it was home to tropical plants and quite a few animals.
We had a few hours to kill one morning, so we took the opportunity to venture inside and see what it's all about. The entrance fee was really reasonable €5.00 for adults..... In fairness, the place looked better inside, and then it did on the outside. Maybe a decent clean of the glass and more appropriate signage wouldn't go a miss. The place was really big inside the glass house itself, lots or exotic and tropical plants, fascinating to see them growing.
There was a large outdoor area, home to a variety of animals. There are lots of walkways, all on a flat surface, lots of benches, numerous toilets, and a medium-sized cafe bar serving a small selection of hot and cold snacks. I would say it's great to bring your own food and have a picnic in its vast grounds. The kids would love it as so educational.
We personally found it killed a few hours, well worth a visit, got some lovely photos.

Very poorly maintained park: abandoned plants, glass rooms, aquatic spaces filled with mud and clearly insufficient in size for the species present.
No signage indicating the direction of the visit. Unsanitary insectary. This park is completely abandoned by the city. The animals look sloppy (turtles all dusty), are in too small spaces... 6-7 parrots in a mini aviary... the exteriors are "less worse" but we come away from the visit saddened with the strong desire to write to the mayor.

Nice park near the airport. It can be reached from the center with the very convenient tramway line 2. Children under 12 years old do not pay. adults pay 5 euros. at the entrance there is a pyramid with differentiated areas that welcome animals and plants from different parts of the globe. outside there is a large park with an area dedicated to animals, a well-made playground for children, a refreshment area, a pond, and then a very nice adventure park with a separate entrance (to be done).

What a shame to leave certain animals in this place being a landscaper really a big job in maintenance everything is dry everything needs to be cleaned it's a shame to charge to see that....and the animals let's not talk about it a crocodile in a pool of mud 5 pink flamingos in 50m2 in a horrible pond with dead fish on the surface probably lacking oxygen Given the quality of the water or other aspect of the disgusting windows a real misery outside the same spectacle afterwards to each their own opinion and his look some to come and eat a sandwich on a poorly mown lawn and sunbathe some will find it great but looking closely at the enclosures and the rest it is catastrophic shameful and for the final their parking is 10€ per hour it's the circle that is closed....a shame for the city of nissa la belle!!!!!!

Lovely park, with a selection of animals to wandering around as well as the tropical greenhouse. Good value for money. One adult and one student is only £8 euros.

We had a fantastic day out at this hidden treasure near the airport. A quick tram from Nice city centre got us to a green oasis, perfect for a rainy day. We expected it to only be a small botanical garden but we're really pleased with the range and variety of animals, flora and fauna. Having an on-site, reasonably priced cafe also made the experience good as we didn't feel as though we had to go hungry. More people need to know about this place. Highly recommend.

C'est 3€ si vous faites partie de la Métropole sinon c'est 5€ et les petits ne payent pas. Je ne sais pas pour les chèques vacances mieux est de leur demander : 04 92 29 77 00

Nous sommes les gérant du snack situé dans le parc Phœnix.
Nous sommes étonnés de votre commentaire car le grill du snack ferme à 15h.
Ce qui signifie que jusqu'à 15 heures vous trouverez chez nous des grillades, des steaks hachés, des Nuggets, des saucisses, le tout accompagné de frites et de salade.
Toute la journée et donc jusqu’à la fermeture du parc, nous proposons des hot-dogs, des croque-monsieurs, des pizzas, des gaufres et des crêpes.
Si vous voulez nous expliquer ce qui s'est passé, car nous voudrions comprendre, vous pouvez nous répondre sur ce site.

hi, we have around 3 hours in Nice airport and i thought of getting out of the airport and go to Phoenix Park. they tell me it's a 15 min walk from the terminal. is it really so? is there a bus to make it even shorter? thanks

We've taken a bus to get there. It's a long way from the center of nice to go to Parc Phoenix. It's at the end of the promenade near by the aeroport.
