Rosa’s classes are amazing! She teaches Niçoise recipes from a lovely kitchen in old Town Nice. The food was delicious & the recipes were accessible & usable for home cooking. It’s a must if you’re in Nice.

Definitely a must do if you're in Nice, like to cook and are interested in learning more about the Nicoise culinary arts! Rosa is a true gem, a great guide to the markets and vendors of Nice and an amazing instructor of the culinary traditions of the area. I had signed up for the Saleya market tour with the associated cooking class. Our group spent an enjoyable morning touring the Nice outdoor farmer's market where Rosa guided us through the local vendors and picked the ingredients we would use later in the day as we prepped our Nicoise meal in Les Petits Farcis's well equipped kitchen. Rosa guided us through the cooking techniques and we finished the day with an amazing meal expertly crafted and prepped with local ingredients!. Can't recommend highly enough!

I took Rosa's tour and class and it was amazing! She has a very good blend of teaching real cooking skills but making it fun for a holiday.

This was such an incredible experience, from the walk through the market purchasing items to the actual kitchen and Rosa herself. The food we made and enjoyed were pleasant to look at and delicious to eat. Combinations of items which I would not think to combine tasted wonderful.
This was such a unique culinary and learning experience. I recommend it to anyone.

The choux pastry cooking class was fantastic, it was lots of fun and I learnt lots of tips and tricks for future baking!
I would thoroughly recommend this class, it was one of the highlights of my holiday!!

I so enjoyed our market trip and cooking class with Rosa. Rosa knows the market well, and the farmers at the market know her. it was fun to be visiting the market with a local expert. We used our market finds to make a delicious meal at Rosa's beautiful kitchen. It was so much fun to make a wonderful Provencal meal and then enjoy eating it. Highly recommend this experience for solo travelers and families. I hope to come back with my teenage kids.

A friend and I took the market tour and cooking class on a day where, unfortunately, there was an all day downpour in Nice.
While we were disappointed to miss the outdoor market tour, our instructor, Viktorija, wisely had purchased most of the ingredients in advance.
Our soggy walk through Old Town led to the cozy cooking studio where the class was held.
We enjoyed learning several traditional dishes, as well as the history of the area, and of course we enjoyed the lunch that followed with some lovely rosé.

I took the macaroons class that was offered (along with my husband and son), and was entirely satisfied! This class was amazing! I have to admit, I was a bit intimidated, as making macaroons to me seemed very complicated, but Rosa was wonderful! She is very knowledgeable and patient and a great instructor! It was a pleasure to meet her and take her class.
If you are looking to take any type of cooking class while visiting Nice, I would highly recommend taking one here! Top notch.

Wonderful day with my husband, daughter and son-in-law, all cooks at different levels, starting with shopping at the local market in Nice learning the history and origin of local Niçois cuisine. Then walked back to Rosa’s lovely kitchen to cook, including a pissaladière, local onion tart, and delicious lunch complete with chocolate mousse with olive oil. All are recipes we can and will take home. She navigated food allergies and a vegetarian in the group with great skill and we all left feeling that our skill levels were enhanced and enlightened. The history of food by region in France is fascinating and Nice, in my mind, is among the most interesting. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had the pleasure of taking Rosa’s macaron class. Her class was a delight! She is knowledgeable and fun and upon returning home feel up to the challenge of making macarons on our own. Our hope is to return one day to take another of Rosas classes! Our thanks to Rosa!

The class with Rosa was in English. She’s originally from Canada. We met in the market, she’ll give directions on where to meet a week or so before the class. It was our favorite thing during our time in Nice. Enjoy!

I suggest contacting Les Petit Facis directly. The cost for 4 persons is Euro 180 per persons. If you mention that Travel to Europe recommended you you may get a discount. Usually the cost is Euro 195 and she gives a discount for Travel to Europe website bookings. For 4 it is already Euro 180 per person. Ask Rosa. She offers a great one day program. Wim
