We arrived when they opened and got seated close to the ocean.
The weather was amazing and it was just a beautiful day overall. We had a wonderful time there.
What set this place apart was the attentive and welcoming staff. Everyone was so pleasant and warm towards us and we never had to wait to place an order. Once we finished eating, they cleaned away our plates immediately before we even had time to ask it. Highly trained and professional staff.
The food that we ordered to our seats in our beach chairs was delicious. We ate lunch in the restaurant, but ordered snacks and dessert throughout the day.
Worth a visit!

Nice beach, has rocks like most of the Nice France beaches. I prefer Villefranche-sur-Mer, but the water at Castel Plage is beautiful. Best view in Nice is right next to Castel plage, walk up right near "I Love Nice'sign.

7-8 years since my last visit and so happy to be back. Awesome location, great service and they make you feel at home. Great food/drinks if you want as well.

Fabulous beach club, comfy loungers, easy to get in/out of the sea and food was great. Service was outstanding, it was busy but our waiter kept on top of everyone, knew when we needed something and even moved umbrellas to keep us in shade without us asking. Highly recommend!

Good atmosphere, easy to get in the water considering the rock beach (they have ropes), good service! Chairs were okay but could be comfier, view was amazing! Lots of seating, easy to book in advance. At the end of the beach in the corner so some strong winds are blocked which is good and allows for more privacy.

A very good time in this beach where we have our habits when we come to Nice. Very good food and especially pleasant staff. I highly recommend it.

Great day on the beach on the french riveria. Booked in advance and was disappointed with sime of the staff trying to pack people in on the beach. Staff work hard but arent the freindlist of bunch seen annoyed when you order a drink which is a sfame. Great vibe on tge beach. Food in restaurant is very good however the toilare pretty poor especially when you are paying for a private beach. Sea is lovely but interesting viewing getting in and getting out

I am presently at Castel Plage and finding everything very pleasant. My question is this: the online price is listed as 30€ for a sun bed and 7€ for towel rental. Yet, I was charged 50€ and told, when I asked, that it was the package price. The staff member waiting on me was quite supercilious and I let it go, since I was more concerned about the discrepancy than the actual cost of being here. I do wonder, however, whether I, as a single, senior woman, was treated — and charged — differently. This was not a language problem; the staff member appeared to speak excellent English and I speak French fluently.
