We booked a half day shore excursion with Walter during our visit to the Villefranche port. We started off in Nice in the morning by visiting the daily flower market and walking along the waterfront. After we left there, we drove, per Walter's recommendation, to the medieval town of St. Paul de Vence. We loved that area and we were thankful that Walter knew right were to take us for the duration of our tour. He was super friendly and knowledgable and his dog, Jack, made my son's day! If we ever visit that are again, we would definitely call Walter.

Fué la mejor elección que pude hacer para ir a conocer a Sigale, un pueblito medieval en las montañas, que pertenece a Niza, de donde proviene mi apellido paterno. Walter Mena fué el mejor guía. Muy educado y con amplios conocimientos de la región.

A perfect Day in the South of France with an amazing, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide! It was such a pleasure to have Walter show us the area while sharing his knowledge of the history. It was a memorable day that my friends and I will remember for years to come. I highly recommend hiring Walter to make your experience of the area so much more enjoyable!

My husband and I just finished a full day, private shore excursion with Walter of Blu Riviera. He was excellent. At our request, he drove us two hours into the french countryside of province to see the incredible blue-green waters of the Verdon Gorge, the Chapel Notre Dame de Beauvoir perched high atop the hills in the quaint town of Moustiers Sainte Marie and two wineries (Chateaux Font du Broc and Sainte Roseline) in Les Arcs, Var, France. It was a great, memorable day and we are thankful to him for his kindness, conversation and great driving skills.

Tour sur 2 jours parfait !! Walter est ponctuel, se montre dispo et tres flexible;) Le minibus est impec et souvent controlé. On en a appris un peu plus sur la cote d azur et les lieux sympa à voir . Stephane et son equipe de Taekwon-do te remercie encore!!!

Walter spoke very good English, knew a lot about the area and overall was very reasonably priced!!!
I first went through all the other higher ranked trips listed about trips of Eze and Monaco area above Walter. I am so glad I ended up not getting on any of the others (and they were all higher priced, some even double the price).
He first took us to a few viewing spots to get some pictures and pointed out some celebrity houses along the way. He then dropped us at Eze with a map to walk the grounds which was beautiful! We got threre just in time as as we were leaving tour busses started showing up. We then checked out Monaco with alots of information along the way. It was nice as he has a special pass (i am sure all tours do but good to know if you are trying to take different methods, car, train, uber, etc.) and took us all the way to the top, did a lap of the castle area and then let us go through the town and watch the changing of the guard as well as grab a quick bite to eat. From there onto Monte Carlo casino which was short, but all that is needed and then home. Pick up and drop off from the hotel and an air conditioned van. We had a private tour until someone called at Eze and we ended up sharing the ride with two other couples, one of which had a child. Made for a full ride but still comfortable. Sometimes we had to wait for other couples. If you are lucky enough or have the money a private tour would have been good as well.
I would recommend Walter to anyone!

Antonio is a great driver and tour guide. Very friendly, and happy to play our terrible music over the bluetooth.
The tour itself is a great way to spend the day. Vignoble Rasse was the highlight. A very personal and authentic tour of wine that showed they care about what they do.

My girlfriend and I visited the Nice/ Monaco area for a week during the slow season. We are both generally independent and prefer to avoid tours but we stumbled on Walter and Blu Riviera and wanted to see more of the surrounding area.
First, he was so accommodating and catered to our schedule. As we came during the slow season he gave us an excellent rate on a tour and let us customize our locations. I emailed him on a Wednesday afternoon and was able to book a tour for Friday afternoon. He even gave us a handful of ideas for dinner in our neighborhood which were amazing.
He was constantly receptive to changes to our itinerary. We had an amazing half day tour to villefranc and eze, and Walter made the trip so much more rich, Both are very beautiful places. He would also drop us off in certain locations and let us explore on our own for 30 minutes or so.
Overall, Walter was an outstanding guide and I would recommend him to anyone. He has so much to offer and really made a difference in our trip. Thank you Walter!

Went on the Riviera group tour with Walter. It was only the two of us as season just beginning but Walter was upbeat and positive and we had a great day. We were fortunately able to tailor the tour a little, and taking Walter's suggestions ended up at St Paul de Vence instead of Cannes which turned out beautifully for us as we were enchanted by this mediaeval town.
Walter is a relaxed and respectful guide and certainly worth contacting if touring in this area.

We spent an incredible 2 days with Walter of Blu Riviera exploring the beautiful towns and Villages of the French Riviera, one a private tour, the other a small group tour “Essence of Provence”. We like seeing an area through the eyes of a local and Walter is one of the best guides we’ve ever had. He is an engaging host, sharing his knowledge and insights, along with some wonderful tidbits about movies, towns and people. It truly feels as though you are spending day with a friend, and he does know everyone, we even happened upon a film crew making a documentary about a famous Italian artist who he knew…
His itineraries strike a perfect balance in selecting the right mix of perched villages, all gorgeous, each offering something a little different, from perfume in Grasse, an olive grove and mill in Opio, lavender in Tourette Sir Loup, and the artists galleries in St.Paul De Vence. In Gourdon we enjoyed lunch al-fresco (at the best table) overlooking the spectacular views of Gorges du Loup and the Mediterranean.
For our private excursion we headed towards Italy to tour the town of Menton and also spent time in the market purchasing cheeses, meats, baguettes and fruit, that we’d have for a picnic lunch in a beautiful olive grove. Our route took us along the Middle and Upper or Grande Corniche with seemingly impossible breathtaking views at every turn, along with a couple off the beaten path spots you’d never find on your own.
Practicalities: Booking was straightforward…we were picked up at our hotel, and great transportation in a new van.
