Wonderful Day Exploring Provence

We had an incredible day exploring the beauty of Provence with William.

We visited multiple hillside towns and learned about the history behind each one. We stopped for lunch at a family run restaurant which was wonderful. We were also able to sample regional wine in one town, and visit a vineyard in another.

Though it was a bit rainy and chilly most of the day, we barely noticed because we were enjoying ourselves so much.

William knows a lot about many different subjects - history, art, wine, and more. He is a very pleasant person to converse with and to be around, which is extremely important when spending the day of a vacation with someone!

We really hope to find ourselves in the area again in the future, and when we do, we would love to schedule another tour with William.

Fantastic Day with William

We had a wonderful day with William seeing Aix en Provence, a winery, countryside villages, and the cathedral in Marseille. William was great to work with from my first inquiry to the tour itself. He is very knowledgeable and also very concerned that we had a wonderful day. I give him my highest recommendation.

We had a wonderful experience with One Day. The whole day was planned out great and both adults and young children had an awesome time. William was super attentive and communication during planning was perfect. Nathalie, our guide, was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. They both made our experience great.

Fantastic private tour guide for Provence

We had a fantastic day out with William, starting from Aix-en-Provence and then exploring a bunch of beautiful towns and wineries around Luberon. Aside from all the normal stuff you expect from a good private tour guide, William was particularly great in taking us to a few places that were not part of the standard Luberon itinerary (e.g. a semi-abandoned medieval village, and a beautiful little family-run winery). Highly recommend!

Excellent Private Coach Tour of Provence

Our tour of Provence gave us the opportunity to cover a lot of ground with stops curated for my group's tastes and interests. We toured Roman ruins, shopped a quaint market in Eygalières, enjoyed the gardens that inspired Van Gogh, dined in St. Rémy, and took in the views from one of Frank Gehry's buildings. It was a stress-free day that hit all the right notes. I would recommend William and his tour company to anyone that wants to see the best of Provence.

Wonderful! Do not hesitate to utilize William - his service is a vacation maker!

We had two wonderful days with William. We had originally booked him for two days one to maybe see lavender fields and one to transfer us to st tropez from aix-en-Provence. What a fantastic decision and investment this was. Of course the summer has been very hot and the lavender was harvested earlier - so he asked us what we wanted to do instead and we turned over planning to him… he took us to the most wonderful villages of Provence hidden away that we would never have found ourselves and then on our day trip to st Tropez took us to cassis and arranged a picture perfect morning for us. He was wonderful company and very patient with our tired and impatient 9 year old who after traveling a month in France was not very enthusiastic about more tours. We will plan to utilize the services of William again when we return (hopefully next time earlier to see the lavender!)

William Is Next Level !!!!!!

William is next level !!!! Off the charts. Deep knowledge of the area, tremendous positive attitude, always willing to please, passion for his work, He has it all. Our entire group of friends, and very experienced travelers,could not speak higher of his service We spent a week with William, and he planned every part of our trip: boating in the Calanques, E-biking in cities, canoeing under the Pont du gard, hiking in parks,dinner reservations, even private chef. William is spectacular. Our suggestion, book Willam first, he is the find, then plan your dates of visit!

Great Day in Luberon Valley

My group of 5 hired William for our tour from the port of Marseille. As we all had been to that city and others in the region before, we opted for a tour of the Luberon Valley. William escorted us to many of the villages in the area. As it was market day in Gordes we asked him to take us there. He gave us good advise on what to look for and he showed us around the little village. He also took us to several other villages including Lacoste, Rouseillon and Loumarin - which each had its own individual charm.
William gave us a great deal information about the area. He also was very accommodating to our group as some of us needed time to rest. We would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting this area.

William is très magnifique!

William is phenomenal! He has a wealth of knowledge about Provence. Beaucoup de fun historical facts. We did a half day tour of Cassis and even though the wineries were sold out of their best wines, he took us to a shop where we could purchase some. A tour of the Luberon was a highlight. He customized our tour and he reserved us a table at a delightful cafe for lunch in Oppéd. Our day trip to St. Rémy, Les Baux, and Carrières de Lumières was also spectacular, again featuring a lovely lunch spot. He was able to find the best places to shop for wine, gifts and clothing. He goes the extra mile every time, offering to assist with anything to make your vacation in Provence more pleasurable: restaurant recommendations, help with shipping purchases, even offering sound philosophy when Covid complications struck family back home. He saved us money with invaluable travel advice We got to know him so well that he felt like family. We are definitely going to stay in touch. Your trip to Provence would be enhanced immensely with tours from William!

Excellent way to experience Provence

We hired William on our first day in Aix-en-Provence. By the end of the day, we had seen the beauty of several villages and heard countless historical facts. We stopped for a delicious lunch in a charming local restaurant in Gordes and enjoyed the Rosé of the region! Spending the day with William was such a pleasure so much so that we hired him for three more days! We truly felt like we experienced the best of Provence. William also introduced us to the French Riviera (Cannes, Antibe). We had to say goodbye in Nice but having had such an excellent personal guide experience with William, we have decided to return next year!
