九月早晨南针峰缆车的等待队伍并不长，这次旅行中的一切都很顺利，我们坐着缆车一直去到了海尔布隆纳峰。来夏蒙尼旅行时一定要来南针峰玩一下。

我对Chamonix 之旅的这一环节感到有些紧张，因为我听说乘坐观光缆车感觉就像过山车一样，但实际上它真的很刺激!缆车速度比从地面上看上去要慢得多，和反向缆车交错时也是如此。缆车除了在经过连接支架时有些轻微晃动，一直平稳运行。工作人员总是试图尽可能多地让人挤进缆车，所以我力图排在队伍的前面，这样我就能更好地看到外面的景色。这座山的风景优美无比(见我的另一篇评论)。由于海拔高，我在爬上几个台阶进入到其它平台时确实有点喘不过气来，而且还有点头疼，但这一切都是值得的!

坐缆车上山只等了很短的时间。在山里上上下下的旅程，山顶上的景色，都是令人惊叹的，这是我们在夏蒙尼期间的一个亮点。在山顶有几个有趣的展览，你也可以看看。只是要注意，在3842米的高度，由于含氧量较低，你会感到一些头晕目眩。

如果你错过了这个，你就错过了夏蒙尼。天哪，真是一次不同的体验。在阴天的两天后，我醒了，在山谷里的最后一个早晨，天空晴朗无比。我径直走到电梯站，排在队伍的第一位，其中包括许多滑雪和滑雪的人，充分利用了美好的一天。我在山顶的咖啡馆吃了早餐，沉浸在美景中，在山上呆了至少两个小时。他们建造的这座建筑，是人类工程和坚毅的证明，但这里的景色可以说是大自然的奇迹。我极力推荐。

How difficult is to adjust to the altitude? I am 59 years old and i am in adequate shape, but it could be a lot better. I would be having to push my wife in a wheelchair for much of this. At what point, would it be prudent to stop ascending?

Bonjour, je souhaite savoir s'il est possible de monter à l'aiguille du midi en prenant le telepherique depuis le plan du midi et non depuis Chamonix. J'aimerais randonner de Chamonix jusqu'au plan de l'aiguille et ensuite prendre le telepherique à cet endroit.

Il est possible de prendre le téléphérique de l'Aiguille du Midi depuis le plan de l'Aiguille sous réserve de places disponibles les jours de forte affluence.

Hola! Mi pareja y yo vamos a ir a Ginebra del 7 al 9 de diciembre y el día 8 queríamos hacer una excursión a Chamonix. Queríamos saber si se puede subir el teleférico Aiguille du Midi y si se puede coger el tren Montenvers-Mer de Glace,

Tickets are not yet available online. Come back on our website at the end of April.

Can you take small roller bags/luggage on the cable car? We are looking at using this and the Mt Bianco Skyway to transfer between Chamonix and Courmayeur.

It is our dream to see Mont Blanc. We wanted last year in December, but it was closed, so we did not bought the flight tickets. Now we could visit Chamonix and Mont Blanc from 27 until 30 of October 2024. It will be open? I see that last year the closing was in 7 of Nov, in 2022 in 5 nov so maybe we will have super luck. If anybody can help us with an answer, it will make us happy. Looking for flight tickets.... Thank you!!

a simple google search will provide you the detail that you need... even if open, I would recommend that you check the weather before you go. Poor weather or just cloud will significantly impact your experience.
