When I was there on July 1st the bunkers were still under going renovations. Unfortunately so were the hotel bunkers at the hotel. I was disappointed too!

The Documentation Obersalzberg is located a couple of miles east of the town of Berchtesgaden on highway 319. The bus stop up to the Eagles Nest is next to the Documentation Obersalzberg.

I'm sorry I don't know. If you enter the address for the kleinsteinhaus, you'll be at the same parking lot. Documentation Center sits below the parking lot for the eagles nest . And once you're nearing obersalzburg signage is very good

I went in June 2015, after you have been to the bunker, walk out of the main building and walk down the path to the left into the trees for about 10 minutes. You will come across an information panel which marks the site where the Berghof, stood. All that is left is a concrete retaining wall which is now overgrown with trees.

I agree that 45mins to Doc. Centre is about right. There is plenty of easy parking but it doesn't open until 10am and is closed on Mondays. You'll need at least two hours to go round and see all the bunkers. It will take 2hrs to get to Innsbruck afterwards. It would only take about an hour longer to travel via Zell am See and the Krimmler Waterfall that would reward you with wonderful views to compensate for missing out on the Eagles Nest which is bound to be covered in mist!
