The showroom is located in a beautiful house on a busy street in Charlottenburg. You press the doorbell to be buzzed in. When I was there I was the only visitor so the whole house was extremely quiet and peaceful. The lights are beautifully arranged and you find descriptions on how they are made. There are enough seats which invite you to sit down and take the atmosphere in. A friendly host is ready to answer your questions but let's you explore the space on your own if you prefer. Definitely worth a visit if you need a brief time out from the busy metropole.

The showroom itself is not massive, I would suggest 30 to 60 minutes are enough to see and experience everything.

My friend recommended me this place and I absoluely LOVED it. The light installations are incredible and the building itself beautiful. The entrance is for free, you have to ring the bell at the entrance. I was welcomed by a very friendly lady who gave me an introduction about the space and company (you can also buy the lights!). I will be back!

It is magical to walk inside the Bocci. I pressed a button and got let inside, haven't meet anyone but can hear voices in a distance. It is no entrance fee and the house in itself is a beauty. Well worth a visit.

This is a must visit, it's totally free and a great place to take photos. It's in a strange part of town but don't let this put you off.

This place has been on my list of places to visit for months now. With my camera in tow, I headed there today and arrived around 3 pm. We had the place completely to ourselves, aside from the super friendly showroom manager, of course. Speaking of, she was so friendly and enthusiastically answered all of our questions about the building and showroom.

Walking from room to room and taking pictures without another soul present was so freeing and fun. I can't believe nobody else was there. Apparently July and August are a bit slow, so take the opportunity and go now! Even the bathroom has a lovely lighting installation. There are some unfinished rooms, and some of the lights will change in November, so we will be sure to come back.

It's free to come in, look around, and take photos. Bring your camera and get some really great shots. We stayed for an hour or two and had a blast. Definitely worth spending time here!

Bocci 79 is a ten-year showroom installation for a contemporary Canadian design & manufacturing company. It opened late 2015.

Entry is currently free.

In reality prepare to be stunned by a very novel artistic approach to lighting, currently situated across three floors of a stunning vintage building.

The exhibition is the result of the vision of sculptor/artist Omer Arber, the creative designer for Bocci.

Arbel's obsessions with varying materials, in particular with novel manipulations of glass, coupled with his fascination for space, light and lighting have resulted in sumptuous installions of breathtaking beauty that have to be witnessed to be fully appreciated.

These works are set in, and through, art-gallery like spaces, bare minimalist rooms, corridors and stairwells, a labyrinth of glowing wonder and in totality achieve a peaceful meditative vibe, a sanctuary of calm, (in stark contrast to the street in which the building is set).

i loved this show. The inventiveness of the works, the ground-breaking novel ways that the materials have been manipulated, the organic flavour to all the pieces, the simple transparent method of presentation, the thoughfulness of the way the works interract with the building, the sheer sensuous FUN of the project. Glorious!

Arbel's previous years as an architect are most apparent. So too his playfulness.

In all it is a marvelous show, one both myself and my partner have been enthused with ever since. It literally lit us up, physically and spiritually. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone with an interest in the arts, be that fine-art, sculpture, architecture or light, or indeed anyone seeking a peaceful and novel experience in a delightful old building.
