The tour of the museum and the tasting were very entertaining. Our guide was Ingo, who guided us through the almost 2 hours with a lot of expertise and charm. Highly recommended.

In a small shop you can get a lot of coffee, chocolates etc. up to original souvenirs.

This is mak a special cafe. If you like coffee, this is the place. Something special. The whole thing supplemented by tea and sweets...very successful.

We booked a guided tour quite spontaneously. Two English-speaking people were still registered. The museum has arranged very easily everything that we get a guided tour in German, which two people got theirs in English.
As a non-coffee drinker, it didn’t interest me at first; however, I was very much in the topic within a very short time, as the tour was extremely exciting and interactive. Questions were always possible. And what I always appreciate very much: if you didn't know the answer, you didn't invent anything but honestly admitted why you don't have the answer ready. Super. (The question had something to do with the subject only remotely.)

Thanks to Ingo we had two really great dates in a super nice location.
Whether gin or coffee, our speaker told us a lot of interesting things about our favorite drinks with a lot of fun.
Highly recommended!!!

The gooseberry meringue cake is a dream. A huge piece of the easy 2 people get fed for 4,50€, it doesn't get better. The ambience invites you to linger.

During the tour through the museum, there are 20 "listening posters" that tell about the origin of the coffee and how coffee import, roasting and sale took place in Hamburg and the original coffee shop. You listen via your phone from a website that the staff shows you - I would definitely recommend bringing a headset/headset. There were a couple besides me at the same time in the museum, but their talk and incredibly high sound on the phone was frustrating - I chose to speed up a little so I could increase the distance to them. There are 7 different languages to listen to, including Danish.
The mushroom itself is beautifully furnished with several coffee media such as grinders, roasters, beans of different grades, cans, coffee makers etc.
In the cafe there is a large selection of coffee including also 3 rare types including Kopi Luwak which I had the pleasure to try myself. It is also possible to buy beans, brewing equipment and various souvenirs.
