不错的博物馆，尤其适合雨天。我在这里呆了一个小时，只希望我有更多的时间去参观更多的收藏品和庭园。不幸的是，在我访问期间，其中一个场馆关闭了。

施泰德美术馆的收藏非常精彩，特别是喜欢德国表现主义的参观者，在那里可以看见许多画家的作品，比如Kandinsky 和Kirchner。美术馆布局好，展馆一个套一个，可以来回重复观赏，在里面还能看见外面的建筑，很是舒服。就是里面温度很高，不知为何，这么热，不知对艺术品有否不良影响。现在他们推出夏季特价，周一到周五下午三点入场只要10欧（平时要14欧），如全天参观就是12欧，很值。

如果你对艺术感兴趣，无论是现代的还是古老的，这里都有与之相关有趣的收藏。除了常规展览，还要留意一些特别的展览，因为一张票可以让你看到所有的展览。支付额外的音频导游还是有用的，因为会介绍绘画以及艺术家。

施泰德美术馆一样可以使用法兰克福博物馆联票，入场前要先去柜台换票券，柜台也有提供租借语音导览的服务，我当时并没有租，原因是因为我对画没甚么特别研究，此次来只是单纯的欣赏画作。这个美术馆占地很大，展览的艺术品也不计其数，如果是喜爱看画展的民众应该可以在这里停留不少时间。

施泰德是欧洲巡回艺术画廊的主要美术馆之一。 该系列分为四层，包括地下室的现代部分。 当我们在星期五早上参观时很快就变得很拥挤。这里特别的原因是有一个提善作品的临时展览，尽管我们比较关注永久展品。展品都被精心展示及打光。请留意，除了餐厅，书店区域还有一个很好的咖啡馆，可以打发时间，避免长途路途感到疲惫。

博物馆很不错，而且不贵。你可以看到伦勃朗、克拉纳赫、维米尔等大师的作品。我们去那里看了提香的展览，它是值得的！我建议游客也去拿音频指南。

如果你喜欢艺术，又来到法兰克福的话，一定不要错过这家美术馆。我来过好几次了，每次都很愉快，我通常主要看临时展。到目前为止，我发现这里的策展很棒，有一个很有帮助的语音导览，看下来差不多要两个小时（如果不赶时间的话），能看见一些精心挑选的艺术品。根据展览的受欢迎程度不同，有时入口会排起长队，不过我从没遇到过因为人数众多而不好的参观体验，可能因为参观的时间不同吧。早点来总不会错！常设展也很好，如果只打算来一次，记得慢慢欣赏（最后记得在那个很棒的咖啡厅里休息一下：）。

固定展毫无疑问是世界级的。现在有提香的个展，持续到2019年5月（《年老的白人》，不过还是很值的）。如果你错过了Lotte Laserstein(德裔瑞典画家)，那还是很遗憾的，他的画还是很了不起的。尽管入口处排队的长龙让人印象深刻，但收银的小姐姐还是很可爱的，这个还是必须得承认的。

There is a lift for wheelchair access to the east side of the building in Durerstrasse. Most of the building is fairly accessible for wheelchairs by means of lifts. You may find the cafe and shop area not the most spacious for navigating wheelchairs but it’s reasonable
Disabled visitors get a reduced entrance fee

When we visited it was 10-6 (10-18:00). On Friday they are open until 9pm. Tickets are $14 or $16 Euros. Enjoy!

We have an overnight layover in Frankfurt in early November 2019 arriving mid day and departing late morning the next day. Would like to see some of Frankfurt. Should we stay downtown or at airport? We like to walk so what should we see and where is an excellent restaurant?

You should definitely stay in downtown Frankfurt. I stayed at the Westin Hotel. Close to historic sites. Check out Rick Steves book in Frankfurt and lonely Planet.

For visitors with limited mobility and visitors with prams or pushchairs, the Städel Museum is accessible by way of a lift. The lift is located on the east side of the building (Dürerstrasse).
Visitors with a degree of disability of 50 per cent or more are eligible for the reduced admission fee. If a “B” has been entered in the disability pass, admission is free for one accompanying person.

Hi Debby,
I spent 1 day in Frankfurt and here are my recommendations:
* Get a two-day Frankfurt card for 15.50 euros and it covers all public transportations, including the train ride from the airport :)
Must-see:
1) Romer plaza
2) Staedel museum
3) the shore by the river (good sunset view)
4) the observation desk on top of the old church by Romer
Food:
Giant food market walking distance to Romer (check TripAdvisor). It has everything you need to sample, from German sausage to cheese to wine and all!
