I went to see Elisabeth.
It was a precedent, but the whole stage was difficult to see in the seats on the edge, but it was very good.
There were very few Asians, so it felt away, and while everyone was dressed, I stood out as a casual wearer.
The stage was so good that I didn’t even have to worry about that at all, and the atmosphere of the theater was good.
It was good to go to Frankfurt.

Were at Chris Norman's concert and had expensive seats.
Unfortunately, everyone stood up and you couldn't see anything. We then ran to the front and put us on the edge, which was good.
A lot of people couldn't see anything. Due to age and disability, they could not stand. Was very sad, reckless and poorly organized.

The reading of Liefers u Loos was a below-average event, difficult to understand, bad acting and far too expensive for that. Why was there so much reading.

This beautiful neo-Renaissance style building is an opera house but is now used for other events because a new opera house was built after the war before the alte oper was restored after it was badly damaged in the war.

The building, which has thankfully been rebuilt, is impressive even from the outside and will probably fascinate every observer. It is worth learning about the history of the building. Even more worthwhile is a concert in the large hall, which can accommodate almost 2,500 visitors. The "Verdi Requiem" conducted by Thomas Guggeis was an event that will be remembered for a long time thanks to the wonderful ensemble (May 27, 2024).

Very nice old opera building with underground parking. Spacious inside. Dropping off the coats was very quick, the staff are very friendly and helpful if you want to find your seat

Hermoso edificio , con una arquitectura increíble, que fue reconstruido luego de la post guerra. Es un emblema de la ciudad, por lo que hay que llegar a conocerlo. Nosotros lo hicimos como parte de un recorrido a pie con un tour, vale la pena!

Reservations were sold out for a few months Only 8 euros to tour this beautiful place! And dont miss a reservation at the Opera house restaurant! Best Steak Tartare I have ever had and the ambiance is amazing,

Me and my buddy will be coming through there on our way to Windhoek Namibia. We are spending the day here on July, 3 and heard there was a fest going on then. Does anybody know if there's any truth to this? Alte Oper Fest??? Thanks, JRV

Loraine, which concert are you going to? At least there is a "Abendkasse" which opens 1 hour before each concert where you can purchase last minute tickets. Should be possible to deposit already paid tickets there as well... Regards, Ralf

Hi! If the concert is inside the opera, then I would definitely recommend wearing something chic. Not necessarily a tie, but a shirt and blazer will do! Hope I could help. Have fun at the concert!

Quando fui não pude assistir nada pois estava entre as temporadas, mas em fevereiro já terá inúmeros concertos.
A programação e venda de tiquetes podem ser localizadas pelo site. O tripadvisor não me permite postar o link aqui, mas é só jogar no google " alte oper frankfurt" o resultado será o primeiro com "alteoper" no endereço.
Não localizei versão em inglês, apenas alemão...
