This Kletterwald (literally “climbing forest” :) ) is one of the most versatile and safest we have been to. As a parent you always worry when you see your kids so high up in the trees. But the safety system (called smart belay) they use is absolutely fool proof and one of the newest out there. Once one of the two safety carabiners are attached to the steel wires of the structure, it can’t be removed. The two carabiners are linked to each other, and if one is unlocked, the other one won’t be able to get released. That means, there’s always one attached to the wires at any given time. We have been in other parks where the kids actually could remove themselves from the safety wires (accidentally as well as on purpose) to move faster through the course. This is absolutely not possible here. Believe me, as a parent, this will give you piece of mind, since some of the attractions are 50 feet tall. If you want to learn more about this harness system, google smart belay systems. There are nine different courses, with one being the training course. They are named after mountains, reflecting the grade of difficulty for each. My 17 year old climbed them all, with Mt. Everest being the last one. After this one, he was physically exhausted as this one was the hardest one. My 12 year old did all except for Mt. Everest, and loved them all. Especially the long zip lines between them where a hit, and some courses she did multiple times just because of the long zips down to the ground.
All in all, this is a fantastic afternoon to spend with your children. And the admission to the park is beyond reasonable. 14 Euros (teenage rate) give you more than three hours of climbing time (and no one really counts). A similar activity park in the US costs us $55 per person. The climbers get a roughly 20 minute intro where each and everything will be explained in detail by the very friendly staff.
Oh, and before you go, check out their website for opening hours. We came in the morning during a weekday and found closed doors, just to learn that the park only opens in the mornings during summer break. Off season hours vary. Parking is about 1000 ft away from the park, a small walk up a little hill is required to reach the entrance, as there is no parking directly at the entrance.

hier macht das Klettern Spaß, egal ob zum 1. Mal oder schon " Profi", jeder findet hier seine Herausforderung. Auch bei nicht so tollem Wetter zu empfehlen. Nur bitte nicht mit dem Auto hoch fahren, das stört nämlich die Kletterer ungemein.

Ob Mount Everest, Mont Blanc oder die Zugspitze - hier kann man durch die ganze Welt klettern.
Ein Spass für die ganze Familie 😊
Hier können Kinder ab 6 Jahre, Teenager und Erwachsene sich durch die Hindernisse klettern, Seilbahnen fahren oder aber ihre Teamfähigkeiten beweisen.
Nur zu empfehlen.

Wow this was awsome .Fun for all ages and abilities from easy to high up in the trees ,friendly staff very save to be in no matter how high you are up there

Kann man in diesem Kletterwald als Erwachsener etwas zusammen mit einem 7jährigen Kind machen oder ist der Parcour für dieses Alter nur für Kinder? Muss man auch als Erwachsener Eintritt bezahlen wenn nur das Kind klettert??? Danke

Guten Morgen, es zahlen nur Besucher, die auch Kletterausrüstung ausleihen. Wenn es also Erwachsene gibt, die nicht klettern, zahlen die auch keinen Eintritt.
Der Parcour für die Kleinen, könnte auch von einem Erwachsenen gemacht werden.
Die Elemente hängen nicht so hoch und sind nicht schwierig, ansonsten sind sie stabil genug für Erwachsene.
