My husband and I frequently visit Cologne and until last night had patronized Exile and always had fun. Last night everything changed. One of the bartenders aggressively pushed my husband as he was trying to make way for another employee behind him carrying empty bottles. My husband was near the door and told him not to push him so aggressively, at which point 4-5 security personnel from outside descended on my husband and put him face down on the road outside. The expensive jeans he was wearing are ripped and no longer useable and his knee has a huge scar, pictures of which we sent to the police with a complaint. The situation never would have happened in the first place if the bartender was not been aggressively pushing people around in an already crowded bar. Was a regrettable experience in a nice city and otherwise nice bar that we have enjoyed in the past but will no more.

La música que ponen siempre está genial. Siempre hay buen ambiente y lo único que pondría de pega, que a la vez está bien, es que suele estar muy lleno

Visited this bar twice on our trip we met a very nice drag queen who we talk to for a long time very cute bartenders and very attentive this also happened to be the only bar that we visited that played American music but good American music:)

Es gibt Gedränge und Geschubse, gerne auch mal Handgreiflichkeiten und Kleidung etc. kommt abhanden. Im Winter ist es einfach viel zu voll und auch nach dem Umbau ist die Raumaufteilung sehr unpraktisch. Die Kellner ziehen einem dann den Hocker unter'm Hintern weg und schieben die Tische an die Wand, um mehr Leute reinlassen und Geld machen zu können. Nicht so schön.

Went looking for a place to dance - and liked the music. But the place was way too packed to get in, let alone dance. Might be better on another night.

Das Personal ist teilweise nett und freundlich.
Die Theke ist sehr lang aber leider engt sie den Raum auch etwas ein. Sobald ein DJ - Musik macht, wir die Bar einfach zu voll und man steht wirklich nur noch beengt. Das macht nicht wirklich viel Spaß. Die Möglichkeit mal schnell neue Getränke zu holen ist nicht gewährleistet. Die Toiletten sind bei der Menge an Besuchern auch zu wenig.
Das Publikum ist gemischt, da einige Bars in der Nähe sind, ist immer ein kommen und gehen.
