１２月にデュッセルドルフのマルクト広場、そしてブルクプラツ(Burgplatz)にてクリスマスマーケットを楽しみました。特にクリスマス時期はお勧めの訪問地です。Burgplatzのクリスマスショップで赤ワインだけでなく白ワインのグリューヴァインも頂きました。個人的には普通に赤の方が好きでした。
また観覧車も一時的に作られていました。外から観ていると回転速度が結構早いのが印象的でした。

La piazza si trova sul fiume Reno, a ridosso dell'antico nucleo della città che coincide con l'area della chiesa di St. Lambertus. Nel periodo di Natale l'area centrale è occupata da un piccolo mercatino che si caratterizza per l'elevata altezza degli stand (che richiamano proprio dei piccoli edifici) e per questo, sfortunatamente, non è possibile apprezzare la piazza con una vista d'insieme, il che è un grande peccato, visto che questa e formata da almeno due micro aree distinte tra loro.
La piazza è ricca di elementi decorativi/celebrativi, nella parte verso la chiesa di St. Lambertus, sotto un piccolo boschetto si trova una fontana con la statua di due bambini che giocano (ispirata a una cartolina del 1900), e poco distante il monumento che celebra l'indipendenza della città nel 1300 circa. Prima della scalinata che scende verso il fiume, ho notato delle pietre con incisi dei nomi, a ricordo delle vittime dell'AIDS.

sat on the steps leading down to the river. excellent spot on a sunny day to enjoy the sunset with all the other tourists and locals. plenty bars nearby but the platz was quiet on our visit..

Wasn't blown away by the square but it is worth an explore and a wander around for a few minutes. Probably a nice place to sit with a drink.

Fraai plein in de Altstadt van Düsseldorf; direct aan de Rijn gelegen. Omzoomd door horecazaken met leuke terrassen. Op het plein staat een historisch bouwwerk in de vorm van een toren waarin een leuk scheepvaartmuseum gevestigd is.

Площадь является одной из визитных карточек Дюссельдорфа. Можно постоять и увидеть, как неспешно несет свои воды Рейн и как проплывают по нему баржи с кораблями. Достаточно много красивых домов и памятников. В Рождественские праздники много веселья и глинтвейна.
The square is one of the hallmarks of Dusseldorf. you can stand and see how slowly the rhine carries its waters and how barges with ships sail along it. There are quite a lot of beautiful houses and monuments. There is a lot of fun and mulled wine during the Christmas holidays.

Een landmark in de stad deze toren. Op oude foto's al te zien en hij staat er nog steeds. Mooi, opvallend, goed onderhouden en met zicht op de Rijn.

The Ferris Wheel and associated food shacks are seasonal usually holidays and not year round. The Burgplatz is a location. It consists of a park, plaza and a few historic buildings located at the Rhein River. Depending upon the seasonal holiday it receives added attractions.
