Fantástico edificio, señorial, elegante, y con unos fondos fantásticos. Está abierto 24 horas al día y su acceso es gratuito.
Tiene paneles informativos muy interesantes sobre sus fondos, una historia de cómo se salvaron dichos fondos durante la guerra... Muy interesante visita.

Das attraktive Gebäude mit einem sehr schönen Treppenhaus ist ein sehr lebendiger Studienort und Treffpunkt der Studenten. Die Cafeteria ist empfehlenswert, auch wegen der Freundlichkeit der dort Arbeitenden.

This is the library belonging to the University of Leipzig and also known as "Bibliotheca Albertina".
The library was founded in 1542 and the architecture of the building was very grand. I did not enter the building but was able to take some nice shots of the building.

Die Geschichte der Universitätsbibliothek reicht bis ins Mittelalter - heute gehören über 5,5 Millionen Bücher und fast 6.500 zum reichen Bestand des Hauses, das auch von außen ein Hingucker ist.
Sehenswert der repräsentative innere Aufgang und die laufenden Ausstellungen, und deshalb ist`s eben nicht nur ein beliebter Treff für die Leipziger Studenten. Man sollte mal einen Blick hinein werfen, wenn man dieses Stadtviertel besucht!
