В том отеле где мы останавливались (Exelsior - отличный отель, кстати) - есть парковка для гостей. Другой, к сожалению, не подскажу , т.к. любим ходить пешком.

Did this 2 weeks ago. Out of the train station you turn left Nd follow the road through the suburbs. It’s a nice walk. You get to a park and look for the kiosk that has an i sign. Check with them on the direction. Just around. Corner from there which is not obvious for outsiders is a spectacular greeting and the town in all its splendour. I’d say a 1.5km walk to the Medievel City Gate.........

Hi, Yes, the streets are walkable using a walker with wheels. There may be areas of cobble stones but there are more smooth streets than not. It is a great city to visit and check out the marzipan store to look at all the wonderful creations. Of course there is the famed gate (used on German currency). We also did a nice boat tour - you might be able to get on the boat with your walker.

No fees, and a canal trip costs €11 per adult person

No memory of entrance fee, we are always happy to pay entrance fees knowing how expensive it is to maintain and staff. I would consult website for specifics. Hope you have a safe trip.

bin selbst erst vor ein paar Monaten hingezogen. kann mir vorstellen das mein Vorredner recht hat. weiss es aber auch nicht genau. da die Lübecker Kassen leer sind aber durchaus vorstellbar. Auch die parkhäuser sind riegeros überteuert.

There is a direct train connection leaving Kiel Hbf every hour at .04 and .44. Travel time 1h28 (leaving .04) and 1h08. I think that may be the easiest way. Have a look at the German Railway website (deutschebahn). It gives directions in English. Lübeck is wonderful. Enjoy!
