The Port of Malaga is a vibrant and vibrant place, perfectly combining the traditional maritime essence with a modern and cosmopolitan touch. Located on the shores of the Mediterranean, this port is one of the city’s most iconic points and a must stop for tourists and locals alike.

Having been to many other port cities, the port of Malaga close up is not too different. As a result, in our opinion, it is worth having a walk along to take in the breeze but only if you have time to kill and don't have a busy schedule.

Nice walk on a port and spying luxury yachts such as YAS from Prince of Dubai and the one from Microsoft founder. Easy accessible from the city center and you can go to the beach as well.

A pleasant afternoon with sea ride, port ride to admire yachts, feet in the water to the terraced beach, lots of shops and art galleries and good restaurants. A good plan that changes downtown.

As our hotel was closely located to the sea front and harbour we often wandered along the excellent harbour front wide walkway to the beach fronts.Plenty of bars and restaurants along this harbourside walk but the most typical Spanish restaurants are in the city locations. Boat tours are available as one would expect in a popular holiday destination. At nighttime numerous young people visit the bars and restaurants often in groups but we never observed any problems which was helped by a strong police presence. Plenty of nice yachts etc and thankfully the cruise liners were made to anchor further out in the port side areas. Various shops offering products and at weekends market stalls popup in a dedicated area offering all types of product. Everything kept very clean and tidy.

This is where our cruise ship docked and we were pleased with the cleanliness and excellent organization of the facilities. The area around the port buildings is lovely with parks and quite a few restaurants. The city starts right away.

The Port of Malaga is divided into several areas, different depending on what you are looking for, of course. If you have to embark on a cruise, you will find signs that show you the route. The same if you want to get on a red Hop on / Hop off boat for a quick visit of the place. If you go there just for a walk, here you will find not only shops like in shopping centers, but also restaurants, bars and shopping stalls. Near the various MUELLE, there is also a green area for walking. From this area, you will also find the Malagueta area nearby.

Nice to walk over and marvel at the large yachts that lie there. There are also some catering establishments and shops. Nusa cocktail bar is recommended.

We had to kill a few hours before taking the flight back home. The walk near the port was very nice, a street architecture on one side and some white covers on the other to make it pleasant even in warm days. You can find also some shops and restaurants. Ferry boats and yachts are to be seen. And if you like you can choose one of the short cruises of 1- 1 ½ hours (between 12-18 euros).

In the port of Málaga there is no car rental. The area where there is more car rental is through the airport or in various parts of the city that you can search online. But I recommend renting your vehicle in the area of Malaga airport.

Depende. Se você gosta de caminhar não precisa pois todas as principais atrações de Málaga ficam a alguns minutos de caminhada do terminal de cruzeiros. Eu faria a pé mas aí depende de cada um.

Hola, pues yo no puedo añadir nada que no te hayan comentado ya, excepto que existe una página web del puerto de Málaga en la que informan de los buques y cruceros que llegan al puerto a diario, por si te apetece echarle un vistazo. No me permiten poner el enlace a sitios web ni el HTML, pero si pones en google "puerto de Málaga información de atraques", te sale la web del puerto de Málaga, a ver si te sirve. Un saludo

Los precios son todos buenos y honestos allí, mejor que en el casco antiguo de Málaga.
