Great “secrets”experienced,
So much enthusiasm and pride, it’s infectious! Glad to hear he has expanded his tour to 3 other parts. His tours are the best choices because he has the heart, capability, humor and ❤️ for his craft. Gracias Miguel!

Visit to the Basque Country

We are s group of 9 friends from Manila and we booked a tour of the Basque country with “Secret Bilbao Tour company” owned by Miguel who served as our guide as well.

His passion for what he does was palpable in the way he treated us not just as clients but as friends.
We enjoyed learning about the history of the places we visited as well as how people lived which were essential in understanding their culture.

Our accomodation, transportation and gastronomic experiences were excellent. Thanks to our 5 star guide Miguel for sharing and revealing the secrets of the Basque Country as it slowly unfolded during our visit.

We were so delighted by this experience that we are now planning a tour with “Secret Bilbao” again to visit La Rioja and its nearby areas for 2024 with our new friend Miguel.

See you again next year. 👍😊

Bilbao and San Sebastian with Miguel

This private tour of Bilbao and San Sebastian for 9 persons was definitely one for the books! And Miguel made this happened.🙂 Everything, from the time he met us at the airport, and brought us to fly back to Madrid, went smoothly.
Miguel is such a nice person, and you can see how passionate he was to introduce to us his beloved Bilbao. We had so much fun and enjoyedthe places he brought us to, because he treated us as friends.
San Sebastian is truly the food capital of Spain, but without Miguel, we might not even be able to truly enjoy eating pintxos, and pairing them with txacoli. This is one experience we will all remember!
From your new friends from the Philippines, SALAMAT AT MABUHAY, Miguel!!!

Like Tina Turner - “Simply the Best”

Miguel is a fantastic guide. Friendly, knowledgeable, flexible, fun to be with, and reliable. We hired Miguel twice in 2018 (half-day tours) and again in 2023 (multiple days). His tours make us want to return and see other parts of northern Spain. He is truly the best.

So we had an outstanding trip - Miguel and Secret Bilbao guided and cared for us - always going above and beyond - amazing food, wineries, culture, accommodation, experience and company, expertly organised, and such experience and humour. Thoroughly recommend and intending to go back!

Miguel nos llevó por lo más interesante de Bilbao, explicándonos las curiosidades que no se suelen ver. Estuvimos en esos pequeños rincones con encanto además de visitar lo imprescindible.

Miguel had lots of great information about San Sebastián and the Basque culture and history. He took us to some great pubs/restaurants for local cuisine. He is a very personable guy who needed to reinvent himself after a career change. He has done well in that journey.
