The side of the cathedral with the gardens and all of the great architecture all around is very impressive. This is a part of town that you will surely see as you walk around and because it is in the absolute center.

This place is very interesting to visit, interior as well as terraces but honestly I find a little expensive the asking price
18/20 € would have been correct .... 25 € is an exaggeration!
Too bad there is no Pass with the Royal Palace because the €25 would have been honest with the latter included.
Nevertheless I do not regret, the view is beautiful.

Fantastic amazing place, you have to go inside to appreciate the beauty of the building and glass windows.
Would recommend that you book on line and not que to book, then go in the back entrance, less ques.

Staying in Palma de playa, so caught the 25 municipality bus in. 4€. Go early as both the buses and the Cathedral get very busy. It’s an interesting place, especially if you understand the depth of what is going on. Take time to investigate the art work - it adds so much value. An essential place to see if you are in Palma. Be aware, buses back are extremely busy.

Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, we were no longer allowed access as it was late and it would close soon. However, I can say that I will go back there, because the cathedral is something phenomenal.

This walkway is just below the cathedral and so if you have just been inside to marvel at the interior of the cathedral why not take a stroll along the terrace? There are nice views to be had out over the marina and the Parc de la Mar which is just below. The walk is especially lovely at sunset.

We visited the Cathedral just after we landed in Palma. This was around 2 pm and there were almost no people at that point. No que at the entrance. We decided to visit the Terrazas and it is well worth it. The view from up there is very beautiful, but the stairs to the Terrazas can be a bit hard to climb. I believe most healthy people should have no problem getting up there. When up you have to walk on a narrow bridge, where it is a bit high to look down. Although it might look scary, it is perfectly safe.
The cathedral is beautiful inside as well as outside. It is worth a visit and it should not take more than 2 hours.

Buy your tickets online to skip the crowds. Cathedral is very nice, pay extra for the walk up to the terraces for the view

The highlight of our visit to the Cathedral was the time we spent on The Terraces, which is the flat portion of the roof between the flying buttresses, and the main structure.
We bought our tickets online about 30 days in advance, so we had no wait in line. We selected the first available time slot in the morning, so it was not very crowded when we arrived. The combined ticket which includes the Terraces was 20€.
We reached the Terraces after a climb up a narrow, spiral staircase of 140 steps. At the top we were greeted by a defibrillator!
You go down the same staircase. If you feel cramped in a standard airplane seat, you may be constricted here.

Möchte gerade Tickets buchen für die Terrassenführung, jedoch kommt dann bei den Informationen der Besucher der Punkt: Wohnhaft
Danach kann ich nur: Bewohner der Balearen anklicken, mehr gibt es nicht zum Auswählen.
Auch eine ID muss ich angeben.
Funktioniert das, wenn ich den Punkt: Bewohner der Balearen nehme und die Reisepassnummer angebe?
Bitte um Hilfe bzw. war das bei euch auch so?

Pour visiter la Terrazas, c'est tout simple car c'est gratuit. Il n'y'a rien a payer, c'est ouvert aux publics.

The Terrace beside the Cathedral is a public area free to all but with great views and a start point for carriage rides. I wouldn't know about bell towers tickets - I don't do heights! However, I guess they're available from the Cathedral ticket office to the left when you're looking at the West front. Enjoy.

Is this site easily reachable on foot from the cruise port exit ? We have no problem walking a bit but sometimes promising sites to visit on a cruise stop are quite far away but not revealed as such!

I believe the port stops will bus you into the Center of the town and from there this is easily accessible. I believe it’s one of the highlights of cruises as we met several people who were from a cruise. Hope this helps.
