Completely over hyped. NOT a beach just a tiny rocky cove. Dangerous to access so don't even bother if you have kids. You could feel the disappointment from people walking back. To make matters worse our car was broken into and anything of value stolen. BE WARNED thieves operate in area.

Very nice, social media makes people go for the picture, but to be on the beach it is not worth it, it is tiny. In October it is fine but too many people, in high season I do not want to imagine. To go to the beach and bathe, any place will be better.

Very beautiful place, you need to walk 15 minutes from the free parking, and go down the stairs, but it’s a must see place. Some tips, 1) go in the morning or midday, as the light will better for the photos. 2) After going down by the main path, go up by the left side of the beach, so you will have other views, and you can finish at the road, closer to the parking. I just not recommend to go down using this path, as can be slippery.

It is a beautiful cove but really tiny! We visited it in mid-September and by 10am it was already full of people. We recommend going very very early and without children! It's a bit of a steep path to get there. Obviously no bar and/or service.
The water is crystal clear and the sand white; there are many fish and caves to explore.

A beautiful beach, however with difficult access, especially for those with young children.

Beach exactly the same as the photos!

This beach there is amazing, but small and over crowded. Try to go there early in the morning before tourists arrive or after 5pm when the tourists start to leave.

Wonderful. The path on foot is a bit hard (very far from the parking lots unless you arrive very early) and it takes the descent to reach the beach. Sneakers, no flip-flops. But waiting there is paradise.

The cove is really beautiful, but beware! At best there is room to place 15 towels. It doesn’t matter how early you go, it’s always filled by the large influx of people but especially by the lack of space that the beach has. My advice is to go and take pictures from above a swim at most and change beaches.

Hi,
It looks like (and a few reviewers have mentioned) that there is a steep/sandy climb down to the beach. Has anyone done this with children? I have a 10 year old and a 7 year old and I wanted to know if the beach could be reached by them safely.

Perdón por la respuesta tan tardía. Yo no iría a esa cala en esa situación. Hay muchas más playas para disfrutar con la criatura y de fácil acceso para pasar un buen día La playa de estrenc es de las últimas virgenes com aguas cristalinas y es muy grande. Incluso hay algún chiringuito y restaurante No es igual que una cala pero para ir con niños pequeños ideal Hay muchas otras para poder visitar que me parecen más adecuadas Espero haber podido despejar tus dudas

I was there recently but I had to hire a car to get there and even at that it was a good trek down to the beach. If you cannot hire a car you night check if a boat can be hired to take you there but it would not bring you onto the beach. Sorry I cannot be of more help.

Hi ...You will need to get a bus from Palma to Santanyi, and then a bus to Cala s'Almunia, which is about 1/2 mile from the Calo des Moro beach, with a steep decline. Best to use the stairs that take you around the back of it as the cliff paths are narrow and difficult to negotiate. Bear in mind that the buses to/from Cala s'Almunia are 3 hours apart, so plan your trip carefully. The bus from Cala s'Almunia leaves at 5pm on a weekday back to Santanyi, so make sure you don't miss it. There are quite a few buses from Santanyi back to Palma, but if you make a mistake, you can always catch a bus to Campos and then change there for a bus back to Palma. Make sure that you use the correct bus stops as well. The public transport buses are red and yellob, and have the TiB logo on them. Check out the online bus routes map for TiB. It should be quite useful.

Hi, Is going nude still acceptable at Calo des Moro? If seen some reports saying it is not that common and about 100% textile. We are visiting there in June.

The short answer is no. If you want to go nude in the same region/area, best to head off for the 2nd beach at es Trenc, near Colonia de Sant Jordi.
