What a beautiful quite beach. The sea is a little rougher and it's not touristic at all. The road is heavy to get there. You need to drive a long road through nowhere from which the last 5 km are over stones. Not accessible with a low suspended car.

Para llegar a la playa hay que tomar el desvío al pueblo de Veneguera, una vez allí, siguiendo la calle principal muy inclinada, un pequeño cartel desgastado te indica el desvío hacia la playa. Es estrecho y al principio está asfaltado pero luego se convierte en tierra. Unos 8 km de camino de tierra yendo todo el rato en segunda, con un coche normal, y a veces reduciendo a primera por baches y piedras o cambios de rasante. Una vez que llegas hay una explanada para aparcar, un letrero de advertencia que no hay socorrista y no se permite mascotas. Aquí tengo que hacer una incisión, mascotas no pero humanos sí, con sus desechos de plásticos, colillas y el último residuo de moda: las mascarillas. La playa no está sucia pero ves esos desechos.
Bueno, una playa para visitar, en mi caso no repetiré por el camino y el coche que tengo. Pero por lo menos una vez en la vida. Importante: recoger toda la basura y antes de irse mirar alrededor por si se queda algo. Hay contenedores de basura cerca.

Frokost med et hold bekendte - hyggelig atmosfære, venlig/ humoristisk betjening.
Udmærket udvalg af både mad og drikke. Lidt træk, men nok svær at undgå så tæt på havet !

Wenn man sich die 8 Kilometer über eine Schotterpiste, die durch ein Flussbett verläuft,gekämpft hat,erreicht man den Strand.Es verirren sich nur wenige Menschen dort hin und wird somit gerne von FKK Urlaubern genutzt,welche vor allem im rechten Teil der Bucht zu finden sind.Durch den schwarzen Sand ist es dort auch an kühleren Tagen sehr warm.Leider kann es dort auch sehr windig sein...alles in allem ist das echt ein Hotspot für Menschen die dem alltäglichen Trubel entfliehen und einfach mal abschalten wollen,das einzige was man dort hört ist das Meer

Wir waren gerade an diesem schönen dunklen Sandstrand, zu dem man einige Kilometer über Schotterpisten anfahren muss. Das war mit unserem Mini aber kein Problem, nicht zu schnell fahren und irgendwann ist man da. Man kommt über die GC 200 und durch den Ort Veneguera zu den Schotterpisten. Uns hat tatsächlich der Zufall an den Strand geführt, da wir vom Westen der Insel kommend nach Playa de Mogán wollten und das Autonavi des neuen Mini uns diesen Weg raussuchte. Genau diese Verbindung vom Strand also Playa de Veneguera nach Playa de Mogán ist aber seit einigen Jahren privat (Hotelgruppe Lopesan) und für Autos und Fußgänger gesperrt, so dass man nur wie oben beschrieben durch den Ort Veneguera. Wir waren mit einem anderen Auto und einem vor Ort lebenden Hippieeinsiedler die einzigen Gäste an einem sonnigen Novembermontag.

Hemos estado dos adultos,no la recomiendo para ir con niños.El acceso es en coche por carretera bastante mala donde hay que ir a 20kms/h debido a los socavones que tiene.La playa es de piedra y arena.En el aparcamiento,cuando nosotros hemos ido había bastante acampados y furgos que se quedan a pernoctar.La playa tiene un fuerte oleaje que hace pensar si bañarte o no.Lo mejor de todo es que es totalmente natural,no está masificada y no hay ningun servicio.

La playa es una maravilla de arena muy negra, poca ola, poca gente y bastante tranquilidad. No hay nada, ni bar ni tienda por el Barranco y se pone bastante duro. A ver, yo iba con un ford fiesta y pase bien pero reconozco que con un todo terreno se haría más rápido y mejor. Mi recomendación ir despacio y punto. Una vez allí averiguar a qué hora es la puesta de sol que vale mucho la pena.

Very quiet beach on a beautiful day! Saw four other people. Must be something to do with the difficulty in reaching the place! We walked there from the village of Veneguera - 10 km there and 10 kms back. Must say the beer tasted good after the long walk back. The road from the village to the beach is challenging in spots. Hire car insurance might have a problem if you got stuck. Previous contributors mentioned the track from Puerto Mogan to here being closed off with gates, signs and fences. The end of the road at Playa De Veneguera was open but there were signs saying "Private Property" and "Prohibido Paso a Personas No Autorizadas" . So looks as if somebody does not want walkers from this end either!!

El camino en coche no es cómodo pero he de decir que me lo esperaba peor. Tienes que llegar al pueblo de Veneguera y de allí coger el camino del barranco (está señalizado), de ahí a la playa son 8/9 km pero de tierra y piedras (son como 40 min n coche), al principio está mejor la carretera (también porque hay zona donde están en obras y pasan camiones y supongo que eso ha hecho que esta parte se mejore). Luego ya empeora pero no es para tanto (leí opis de gente que decía que se tenía que hacer en 4x4, nosotros íbamos con un Fiat 500!!!!!), la peor parte es la última, unos 200 metros que se hacen eternos. Pero vale la pena!!! Eso sí, tened en cuenta que a mediodía la marea va subiendo! Nosotroa hicimos varios muros de arena y no nos afectó pero si no lo haces, tendrás que cambiarte y ponerte en la zona de piedras!

The nice walk from Puerto Mogan to Veneguera beach is no longer public. 2 Huge steel gates at the Mogan end and wire fence that would stand the comparison with the Berlin Wall, augmented with countless signs make it abundantly clear: no trespassing. And that is a shame, the 17km return walk was always a delight. From talking to locals we understand that there is pressure to reopen on weekends, but so far no joy. I guess the Veneguera end is no different. Makes the Veneguera beach even more remote than it already was, which itself is not bad.
