If you visit Las Palmas de Gran Canaria you can not miss visiting and walking through the old and historic center of the capital.
Walk through its pedestrian streets and stop to admire its areas and monuments, such as the Plaza de Santa Ana, the Cathedral with its dogs (take a picture with them), the squares of the New Pillar, the Holy Spirit, the San Antonio Abbot, enter the House Museum Columbus or the Canary Museum, etc.
You can complete the visit with the Triana neighborhood and browse the countless shops.
If you fancy it, you can also sign up for a guided tour.
As in all cities parking is complicated.

Nice place in Las Palmas. A breath of fresh air after all those ugly places like playa del Inglés...more really Spanish with nice squares and terraces.

Really worth a visit. The internal courtyard is wonderful and green lush and museum is interesting. I walked all the way up to the top of the tower for magnificent views of the old city.

Very characteristic area of Las Palmas, with colorful houses, decorated with flowered entrances and characteristic balconies. Very nice square where the Cathedral stands where, with an elevator, you can reach the top of the tower where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city

This neighborhood, seeded by what has become Las Palmas de Gran Canarias, has nothing to send to other neighborhoods of other big cities on the Peninsula, on the contrary, it is a quiet neighborhood with many interesting things to see and places to eat. The Plaza Mayor de Santa Ana, with the cathedral overlooking it, stands out, as well as the Casa Colón.

Visited the cathedral. Walkable area as partly pedestrianised. There was a good selection of cafes/restaurants to make frequent stops and the usual high street stores for shopping.

It is the historic heart of Las Palma, the old town with its small colorful streets, its mercato, the Casa de Colom and its cathedral.

What do you mean by Full information? It is the old part of the capital of the island so expect to see lovely buildings and beautiful squares, expect to walk around a lot and to stop in lovely bars for a beer if you get thirsty! Enjoy!

There is a public parking directly at the market hall in Vegueta. Don't know the prices. It is easy to find as it is directly between the atlantic ocean and the market hall (red building) ;)

E' difficile a Capodanno trovare locali aperti. Ti consiglio di provare con l'Hotel Reina Isabel . Il Ristorante è buono e godi di una veduta panoramica notevole sulla Playa de Las Canteras.
