Es un lugar para descubrir los encantos de la isla, cuya mejor época, es primavera por el buen tiempo y observar el manto verde que se forma en la isla.

Nous avons fait l'excursion du grand tour de l'île c'est magnifique. Les divers paysages, les cratères et les ravins sont très beaux. Dommage que la guide Soledade n'était pas très bien, elle est âgée et se répète énormément. Mais la visite était trop belle.

Guide was very friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable about the area. The walk was bit tiring but the views were excellent. Tasty packed lunch was provided and the trip ended on a great note at the winery. Overall a great day trip and experience.

Gran Canaria is so much more than just beautiful beaches !!! I had a few days out with Walk in Gran Canaria and it made such a difference! A fantastic way to discover the island! The routes are interesting and the guides are entertaining and very knowledgeable ! Lucien in particular was very friendly, professional, and gave us a good deal of information on the culture and area. I would recommend and do more excursions with Walk in Gran Canaria next time I´m on the island! Thanks to Lucien and the team!

I really enjoyed the nature and the walk to the crater. Our guide Lucien had a wide knowledge of the area and the canarian flora and fauna. He did a good job explaining everything bilingual (French & English).
The excursion really is exclusive since you get to know the famous winery at the end of the day. I loved to visit the familys finca for the wine tasting. I highly recommend the tour with walkIn Gran Canaria to anyone who loves hiking and nature!

I organized this trip as a private group activity for my students from an overseas university. We were a group of 18 people and the company was very helpful in organizing everything and have the paperwork ready in advance of our arrival.
They picked us in the hotel and both our guide (Nina) and the bus driver (Reyes) were fantastic. Nina is perfectly multilingual and delivered very informative explanations in English of the landscape and history of the area on our way up to Tejeda, which lasts for about an hour. The fist part of the hike takes us to "La Fogalera" lookout that allows for stunning views of the Bentayga. Afterwards, we went up to the very base of the Nublo and had plenty of time for my students to take incredible pictures before the sunset.
One thing that is fantastic about this location is that the west face of the rock can serve as a very nice seating area to rest and have dinner (a good picnic dinner provided by the company) and witness the sun setting on the sister island (Tenerife) that was clearly visible behind a sea of clouds. There was enough space for a group of our size and other people on the rock at the time.
The activity lasted for about 6 hours (pick up at 4.30 and back in the hotel at 10.45). I heavily recommend it as an activity for corporate events (meetings, incentives) or even conferences, regardless of the group staying in Las Palmas or in the South. If you are lucky with the weather, it is an experience you will never forget!

I went to the crater of Bandama with 2 friends. The view is very beautiful but what I found the most interesting was all the information our guide (Lucien) gave us about the crater and Gran Canaria. The group was small (we were only 5) so we could chat easily with the guide to ask all the questions we had.
All in all, with the nice weather, it was a wonderful day. Thanks again to Lucien.

We went on the Caldera de Bandama tour with a visit to a wine farm with some wonderful wine tasting. Our guide Lucien was very informative, funny and a genuinely nice guy! Apart from a very nice tour he also gave us good tips on what to do in Las Palmas.
It is definitely worth a visit if you're in Gran Canaria! We wish them best of luck in the future, will be back next time :)

Is it possible to do the Walk in the caldera hiking tour for cruise ship passengers? We will be there 6/7/15 from 7:00am-7:00pm.

Dear Nick, yes we can arrange the hiking tour for you. It is a wonderful hike and experience. We can meet you at 09:00 hours at the Centro Comercial El Muelle, which is very close to the horbour (less than 100 metres). The return time is about 14:30 hours, so, no problem with the boat departure. It includes the hike and also a wine tasting in the winery area.
