A show of great proportions. The wide and long beach with the immense cliff behind it make it unmistakable. Not exactly welcoming, but shocking.

Looks lovely from the distance, but once we got out of the car and stepped on the beach, I realised it's full of small plastics and other waste that people had left behind. One could argue that the waste washed up due to the tidal movements in the ocean. I very much doubt that, as 500 meters down the road, on Play de San Juan, there is minimal waste if not none and that's a wild beach! The world would look a bit different if we all made an effort and took our rubbish with us!

Very extensive and windy beach, but nice for long walks.
There were many people kitesurfing and windsurfing.

A disappointed pelin, expected much more, there are many and better places on the island. On the beach plenty of air and suitable only for surfing.

The best beach on the island without a doubt. Kilometers to walk on the beach, quiet and good weather guaranteed. It can be reached by rental car or by bus

Stunning virgin white sand beach with more than five kilometers, which extends to the foot of the cliff; Magnificent views where the mountain and the ocean contrast, ideal for walking and relaxing, it is usually windy.

Wie ist im Februar das Wetter (Temperatur, Wind, Wasser) am Famara Beach? Sind zu dieser Zeit alle Restaurants geöffnet oder sind da eher weniger Urlauber dort?

Can anyone tell me if this beach has ramp access or step access? I have a double buggy and looking to visit here (not for swimming!) but want to know if I can actually get onto it! :) thanks in advance!

no its not really accessible by a wheel chair I could not get to it with sticks so but its well worth a visit the view is wonderful the breaking waves and raged rocks make it worth the trip

Difficult nah!
A piece of cake.Direct bus 31 or 33 runs several times a day more at weekends direct from C.T and takes less than 30 mins.Buses cheap and very reliable.Buy a reloadable card from Arrecife bus station for 10% fare reduction.The phone app is excellent for journey planning.We have gone virtually everywhere by bus.Helpful drivers too.
