Very comparable to the architecturally and acoustically often overrated Opera House in Sydney.Bold and clearly structured and thoughtful architecture .A wave-simulating roof that is simply overwhelming and in my opinion dwarfs the small-scaleness of Sydney Opera.Acoustically, the large auditorium hall is absolutely superior to what is easy to "hear" and experience .A valuable gem in the capital Santa Cruz de tenerife.

For all those passionate about architecture it is an experience not to be missed. If you decide to visit Santa Cruz De Tenerife I highly recommend going there.

After the outside visit of the auditorium and admire the ocean, we went for a cafe and hot chocolate inside the building. There is a bar with huge open windows, access the people to sit down.
A must building to see in Tenerife.

We booked online a few weeks before arriving, but others walked right up and did the tour. Tour is about 3 to 5 euros depending on your age. Check ahead to get the tour in your language. English tour was at noon today. Small group of about 12. Tour guide Lucia was very knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke excellent English. You will learn about the construction materials and the architecture, see inside both performance halls, and you will leave with a greater appreciation of this very cool looking structure.

Tenerife Auditorium, that symbol of modernity that has been falling apart for years without anyone knowing who should fix it: the star architect or the politicians of the day? The only sure thing is that, as always, the taxpayer’s money will be the one to “fix” it.
The café also seems designed exclusively for snobbers with prices that compete with the luxury of the French Riviera. Of course, coffee is not worth half what it costs.
Programming, in cultural theory, has turned this space into a haven for rich people. Perfect example: the Dracula concert, where those who paid a fortune for the front rows had the “privilege” of sitting in crappy folding chairs.
And if you decide to stroll around, you will only enjoy if you have a fascination with the changing waters of the Black Castle or the picturesque parade of quinquis that usually animate the urban landscape of Santa Cruz.
In short, a building with a lot of potential, but buried under the neglect, skintiness and delusions of grandeur poorly executed.

A fantastic building with a surprisingly nice large concert hall.
Easy access by bus. Particularly nice in lighting in the evening. Good seats, good acoustics at concerts.
Opens approximately 1 hour before the concert here there is the possibility of purchasing refreshments

very beautiful architecture, visible from afar and especially from the port, the auditorium Adan Martin of the architect Santiago Calatrava is 2003. It is certainly the most emblematic building Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Spectacular exterior and amazing interior thanks to the guided tour that lasts about 45 minutes at the cost of 5€ bookable at the time. (there are predetermined time slots) The languages are Spanish and English only. No earphones, but a very knowledgeable guy will reveal the secrets of this construction of the great Spanish architect and engineer and sculptor. Highly recommended.

When visiting Santa Cruz, you almost inevitably pass the Auditorio de Tenerife.
Shortly we decided to treat ourselves to the symphony concert "Bolero" and were really excited afterwards.

A gdzie konkretnie ten parking koło Auditorium? i czy on jest bezpłatny przez cały dzień , czy tylko po 18?

Witam,
ja byłam w maju i wówczas parking był bezpłatny przez cały dzień. Parking jest bardzo duży i trudno go nie zauważyć. Jadąc od strony południowej po prawej stronie drogi (Av. de la Constitucion). Obok jest park i ogród botaniczny z palmami (na lekkim wzgórzu).

non sono in grado di dare info utili perchè la ns visita è stata solo esterna e di breve durata (venivamo da Puerto de La cruz)ma gli uffici turistici danno info molto dettagliate e forse si trovano direttamente anche on line.

Wij ga deze zomer naar Tenerife. Wij huren een auto en willen deze onder het Auditorium parkeren. Hoe ver is de wandeling vanaf het Auditorium naar het centrum (restaurants en winkels)?

Naar het historische centrum is 1,5 km, 20 minuten lopen. Als je kunt, bezoek dan de oude hoofdstad, San Cristobal de Laguna, en Puerto de La Cruz, niet te missen.

There is no dress code for an ordinary concert, wear whatever you like as long as it is clean. Smart casual is recommended, jacket / suit / tie is optional. The Spanish audience seems to be more stylish dressed than the tourists.

Siempre que hemos ido a algún evento dado en el auditorio hemos procurado coger la fila 15 a la izquierda según se mira al escenario, el motivo es porque, cuando coincide con algún concierto de piano, desde está posición veréis hasta las manos del pianista, ya, que está de lado. Por todo lo demás creemos que es una buena fila en cuanto a visión y audición.
