Merece mucho la pena. Es muy didáctico. Museo completísimo con un pequeño acuario representativo de las especies en el Mar Cantábrico. Impresionante el esqueleto de 24 m. del cetáceo colgado. Me encantaron todas las salas.

Beau musée maritime avec de nombreuses maquettes et dioramas expliquant le vie des pêcheurs et des costructeur de bateaux dans la région.
L'aquarium présente des poissons qu'on a plus l'habitude voir dans nos assiettes.
On y passe en tout cas facilement 2 heures.

Bien expuesto y entretenido, un planazo con niños!!
A quien opina que es caro que por favor se vaya a una tienda de animales y pregunte lo que vale un sólo bote de comida para pececillos.

This was the highlight of our trip to Santander! In a city that honestly doesn’t have too much to offer apart from maybe the food, this museum really lifted our spirits.
The exhibit is well laid out with some very clever and thoughtful exhibition set pieces. For example, in the exhibit showing what it would have been like to have been on board one of the ships, they had the cannons aiming out towards some small windows so that you could see the real sea outside, making it feel very immersive.
The aquarium was absolutely delightful with displays of local fish and jellyfish. Admittedly it is relatively small and the exhibits can’t possibly compare with the likes of Okinawa or Singapore, but for a small museum, they had really made an effort, which is all one can ask for.
Some reviewers mentioned that they were asked not to take photos. We were not told this - in fact in the aquarium we were told we could take photos as long as we didn’t use the flash.
Overall, a lovely way to spend a couple of hours on a rainy day.

Museet ligger langs havnen i nærheten av Botin museet som dessverre ikke var åpen denne dagen...kjedelig. Museum Maritimo er ganske stort med mange interessante ting. Museet har også en meget spennende "akvarium" i under etasjen. Havnen der museet er er veldig langt med mange vakre viker og små strender og små hager. Fra havnen kan man også ta båter som seiler rundt i havnen. Fra havnen(nærmere sentrum) seiler Brittany Ferries til Portsmouth og Plymouth i England.

Museo, apto para todas las edades. Muy bien dotado con un oceanográfico espectacular. La historia de la Marina de Cantabria, y también de la española , muy bien ambientada.

Very friendly staff! Museum that has lots of detail and discusses how Santander's fishing industry and the Spanish Navy evolved and changed throughout the years! The aquarium is small albeit wonderful, they have a selection of the local fish in the museum and thry have a nursery which you can view. I do wish they had more information about the fish instead of using a tv screen that went on and off.

Como en otras ocasiones nos ha encantado, y aún más las novedades. El medusario y el laboratorio de cría, es muy llamativo y didáctico. Además han remodelado la exposición permanente, la zona de acuario del Cantábrico como siempre genial. Planazo con niños.

Museo con 3 plantas bien diferenciadas, una con la historia de la navegación, muy educativa, otra con un acuario, y otra en la que destacan varios esqueletos de ballena impresionante el más grande. Nos ha gustado mucho.

A las 12 de la mañana baja un buzo a darles smde comer. Es curioso y bonito. Merece la pena verlo.
De todas formas, pregunta al entrar en el museo, por si han cambiado el horario en periodo estival.

Hola para ir con niños indispensable:
* Parque Naturaleza de Cabarceno
* Cuevas del Soplao
* Paseo en barco por la bahia o por la ria de Cubas. ( Hay hasta un barco con cristalera en el fondo que hacen una parada y te puedes asomar por el cristal para ver vida marina de nuestra bahia) ( estos se cogen el paseo maritimo de santander)
Y los demas sitios tb indispensables:
* Santillana del mar y Neo-cueva Altamira (domingos es gratis)
* BArcena MAyor (para mi uno de mis pueblos favoritos)
* Comillas ( Palacio Sobrellano, Capricho de Gaudi, el cementerio con su angel con espada, playa...)
* Santander: El sardinero y Peninsula de la magdalena
* Ucieda ( pertenece a reserva saja- BEsaya si os gusta la naturaleza es una maravilla)
* Lierganes
