Toller Blick auf die Hafeneinfahrt und das Centro Botin

Durch den Jardines de Pereda spaziert man an lebensgroßen Bronzeskulpturen vorbei auf dem direkten Weg zum Centro Botin. Das Kulturzentrum wurde 2017 für Ausstellungen, Kunst, Musik, Film und Theater von Renzo Piano, einem Pritzker-Preisträger konzipiert. Es wirkt wie ein gelandetes Raumschiff von aussen. Nicht weit entfernt stehen die "Los Raqueros" am Hafenbecken, eine Skulpturengruppe, Kinder, die nach Münzen tauchen.

Der Park beginnt mit Spazierwegen, einem Parkcafé, Skulpturen etc. am Hotel Bahia bzw. an der alten Post, dann geht er in einen schmaleren Teil über, der sich zwischen Paseo Pereda und dem Wasser dahinschlängelt. Ein ideales Gebiet, um - vor allem am Wochenende - gesehen zu werden und zu sehen, eine Flaniermeile also.
Alles ist gepflegt und wird angereichert durch eine schöne Auswahl von Restaurants.

The Pereda Jardines offers a Monument that presents a wonderful set of bronze sculptures. The Saint family and others along the gardens there is the carrousel and 80-100 years Old Palm Trees to make it special before reaching the Botin Center or the Gallion. Pleasant Garden walk and fresh due to the trees

This public Park on the promenade of Santander is located on the territory reclaimed from the sea. This motif of labor, struggle with the sea was one of the leading ones in the work of the writer José María de Pereda, whose monument is the dominant feature of the Park. The sculptor Lorenzo Coullaut Valera depicted scenes from his works on bas-reliefs around the statue of the writer. They will say something to the Spaniards, but foreign tourists do not know the content of the writer's works. But the most important thing in the Park is its biodiversity. Pines, palms, chestnuts, cedars, Apple trees, Linden trees, boxwood trees are represented among 200 trees.
