This is a small square near the edge of the old town that serves as a kind of a transportation hub. Several bus lines make a stop here, and one can find taxis as well.

This square is a square in Toledo. Close to the bus stop and close to Alcazar Toledo. There are many small paths around the square, one of which leads to the Toledo Cathedral.
The board itself isn't so big. There is a statue of Don Quijote, a fictional figure from the famous Miguel Cervantes novel. Toledo itself is the setting or background of the novel.
Around the square there are many restaurants and souvenir vendors as well as tourist information around here. So this place can be called the gathering point of tourists visiting Toledo.

To be in theory the main square of toledo disappoints a little there are two brands of American catering and some bar food restaurants? Uf.
I recommend going to the breweries the clover is next to this piaza or down silleria street to the Abbey.
Starting point for excursions for groups Shops for tourists.

As we climb the escalators, the Plaza del Zocodover welcomes us before entering the small streets of Toledo. Its irregular shape is quite atypical and we can find craft shops here.

This plaza COULD be nice. Unfortunately there is a lot of negatives undermining any potential ambiance: 1) it’s ringed with American fast food “restaurants” (McDonalds, Burger King, with Starbucks nearby); 2) heaps of litter from above-named restaurants; 3) it’s a short-term parking lot for many delivery vehicles; 4) and there are tons of tourists. The city council should be ashamed allowing these non-essential junk food establishments on the city’s most visible plaza of a gorgeous ancient city.

Without a doubt the main meeting place in Toledo. It has a triangular shape, and on some sides it has arches. Architecturally it is not spectacular, but the meeting place is.
Located a few meters from the Alcázar and not too far from the Plaza Consistorial where the town hall and the Cathedral are located, it is undoubtedly the ideal meeting place due to its spaciousness and central location.

A dilapidated place with only a McDonald's and a Burger King as entertainment. THE INDICATED restaurant bar Mazepan el Foro has prohibitive prices: €5 for 25 cl of draft beer, and €13 for 1/2L of bad sangria... Unpleasant service. TO FLEE.

The square has lost all its local essence.
It's a place where I would never sit down and have a drink, since I would get ripped off.
It is crowded with tourists. Many their route is from here to the Cathedral.
People with umbrellas waiting to take a guided tour. Zero premises. Zero essence of a city's main square. Zero Toledoans who have met here with friends to have coffee, as we can still do luckily in other cities.
And zero locals living and those who persist with trankimacin like the lady who went viral this winter when she appeared on all national TVs, given that she had sued the City Council. I pity her. Tourism contributes, but it turns certain areas into impossible areas to live in peace and be able to have a coffee at a reasonable price.
