If you want a true 5 star guide that can customize your tour Pavel is your answer. His Barcelona tour is fantastic, but do not limit yourself to city. We used his services to go to Monserrat, Girona and the Costa Brava area. He always has a driver and a tour guide that makes drop off and pickup so efficient. I am an experience traveler so I know when you have a True tour guide to show you the sights.

We can't give enough praise to Pavel at Barcelona Secrets for the amazing tours we took with him last week. His knowlege, expertise, and total kindness and consideration for our special needs is not often seen. This was the rule throughtout our city tours and especially in Montserrat, the Gaudi Crypt and the amazing restaurant we experienced along the way to Montserrat. We want to give a special commendation to his colleague David, who made Segrada Familia an outstanding experience and to his driver Misha, a sweet, careful and considerate person. Thank you Pavel, for everything above and beyond the call of duty!! Marilyn and Amnon E. and Iris and Boris Y.

We were in Barcelona for four days, and three of them we spent with guide Andrey.
Day 1: Barcelona/Gaudi
Day 2: Winery and Monserrat
Day 3: Figueras, Pubol castle and Girona
Andrey is an excellent guide, he knows a lot. It was pure pleasure to talk to him, he is full of information on literally any topic we asked, whether is is history, art, wine or linguistics. He is very flexible with your suggestions.
Highly recommended!
Day 1: Barcelona/Gaudi
Day 2: Winery and Monserrat
Day 3: Figueras, Pubol castle and Girona

We had a wonderful day trip with Pavel to Montserrat and Sabaté i Coca S.A. family vineyard and winery. He is very knowledgeable of the area as well as of the wines we tasted and was willing to let our desires dictate the activity of the day. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Нашим гидом был Андрей и мы ездили в Андорру из Барселоны (индивидуальная экскурсия). Мы провели отличный день, узнали много нового. Андрей - отличный гид, с удовольствием рекомендую!

We had the most wonderful tour to Andorra from Barcelona with Pavel. He was full of information about the region and it was a pleasure to spend the day exploring with him. The driver for the day was also excellent, a safe driver and very polite. Pavel is probably the best tour guide we've ever had and would thoroughly recommend.

Our family spent three wonderful days with Pavel. Pavel was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was responsive, punctual, and FULL of amazing wisdom and knowledge about all of Catalonia. Our first tour was a full-day walking, Gaudi tour in Barcelona. He brought a wealth of knowledge and insights to the tour. We visited 4 sites and he had pre arranged tickets for us at the big ones like La Sagrada Familia So we didn’t have to wait in line. We had a nice small late breakfast and a wonderful paella lunch on our tour too.
Our second tour was in Priorat where we did a full day tour, with a private driver, which included a visit to an old monastery and three wineries. The wineries were all small, unique and wonderful. We learned so much and the kids even enjoyed a little wine safari ride at Marco Abella. Our favorite was Cellar Cal Pal where we were treated like old friends. We had an amazing, local lunch too that stuffed us full!!
Our third tour was in Girona and some of the mid-evil towns around the Costa Brava. Once again, Pavel is such a patient and excellent guide and storyteller. He draws you to the history and beauty of the area. You will learn so much while loving the experience! You may even get some yummy gelato too.
I highly recommend Pavel and Barcelona Secrets. They are worth the money, a great value, for an intimate memorable experience. He’ll work with you to make your trip dreams come true. Our trip to Catalonia would not of been the same without Pavel.

I did 3 day trips with Pavel during my visit to Sitges and Barcelona.
On the first day, we went from Sitges to Andorra and back. Pavel was excellent, in that he fit many things into one day. I had a list of places I wanted to go, including a short hike, and he made it all work. Visiting Andorra was a more complicated due to the pandemic, and Pavel did the research and contacted necessary agencies to make sure that border crossings would be no problem.
On the second and third day, we went from Sitges/Barcelona to visit wineries in Priorat. Pavel is extremely knowledgable about wine, and especially wines from this region. He setup visits with 7 different wineries. Some of them were the Priorat "pioneers", others were tiny and impressive family wineries within the various villages. Pavel even helped coordinate shipment of wines. The trip required a couple of last minute changes and Pavel made the changes seamlessly.
I was very happy with Pavel/Barcelona Secrets. I highly recommend him. And I will certainly do more of Catalonia with him when I return.

A stunning tour including Sagrada Familia and Park Guell and other scenic points with great explanation, super service, private van! We enjoyed as a party of 4 adults and 1 child an unexpected simply wonderful discovery of Barcelona!
The second half day trip to monserrat is very recommended to discover the unexpected landscapes around Barcelona.

I've never been one for large tours with a lot of strangers, so during our recent trip to Barcelona with another couple, we thought it would be fun to take a tour of a local winery with just the four of us. We saw that Barcelona Secrets offered private wine tours with included transportation to and from our hotel, and it sounded perfect. The excursion was so much more incredible than we even expected! Pavel was an amazing tour guide, and taught us so much more about the history and culture of the region than just the wine. He and his driver picked us up at our hotel exactly when planned, and we took the short drive out of Barcelona to a winery in Alella, Bouquet d'Alella. Allela was charming and beautiful, and a wonderful change of pace from the busy city. We loved learning about its history, and the effort to maintain everything that makes it so special with what seems to be an influx of luxury homes (although it is easy to see why anyone would want to live here). The winery was GORGEOUS and had plenty of history of it's own. I'd say we lucked out with weather in the mid-70's and sunny, but apparently that's the norm here. The winery is family-run and organic, and they harvest their grapes by hand. The property is filled with trees and fruits aside from just grapes; I do not think we could have found a more picturesque vineyard to visit while also being blessed with such a high quality, personalized tour. Honestly, even listening to them talk about soil was surprisingly fun! After we were walked through the property and the process, we were seated outside for a tasting, where Pavel and the vineyard's amazing guide and sommelier, Daniel, guided us through smelling and tasting and even the basics of holding a wine glass properly (yeah, we are the kind of heathens that usually grab the glass and not the stem). After we finished tasting some extremely delicious wines (and purchased to take home, of course), Pavel took us into town for tapas. The restaurant we went to sold wine you poured from the barrel to take home and could taste first with decanters...something I have certainly never seen in the US. Definitely not in Ohio! We had the traditional tomato bread, cheese, meats, fish, and half of our party tried vermouth (another drink we never have casually at home, which was delicious with ice and soda water!) Very full and very happy, we returned back to our hotel in Barcelona to wander around the city some more before dinner.
I cannot recommend this tour highly enough, it really was a wonderful experience I know I'll never forget. Make sure you allow yourself time to enjoy some tapas and explore if you are interested, nothing is rushed here and that is a good thing. If we are able to return to Barcelona (and I really hope we are!) I would absolutely book tours with Barcelona Secrets again- Pavel was incredible!!!
