I've Always wanted to Try Paragliding, even just to feel the difference with a parachute jump.

Our day with Xirli was a highlight of our 2-week trip to Spain and France! We knew we were in the right hands when we walked into the office of the paragliding company and they greeted him as an old friend. That's how you feel at the end of the day - like you've seen the sights and made memories with a new friend.
We chose to do paragliding and a hike on Montserrat. Xirli made the experience seamless, stress-free, and so much fun. From our hotel pickup to breakfast and coffee at a small cafe, to the thrill of paragliding and the awesomeness of hiking Montserrat, we were able to enjoy everything in comfort and at an unrushed pace. We had a group of 4 paragliding pilots from the US and Xirli was our invaluable guide. He knew the different sites, constantly checked the weather and made recommendations that allowed us to fly several different locations, and multiple launches at each site. Maybe as valuable, and as fun, was Xirli's knowledge of restaurants and his circle of friends. He drove our rental van to the various sites and even arranged lodging for a few of the nights.

I am a P4 pilot from the US and 3 other P4s and I hired Xirli as a guide and driver while we were in Spain last week. Xirli was an invaluable resource for each site we visited, for particulars about the site, for weather and conditions, and also accommodations and restaurants. All done with a big smile and warm attitude. He drove our rented vehicle and we sat back and relaxed- although he also had his own vehicle- ours was bigger and better for 5 people. On a non flying day he took us for a great day trip to Montserrat just for fun. Xirli is very professional and knowledgeable about flying and also just a great person. He added so much to our flying experience in Spain.

Xirli is a very passionate paraglider!
He set my partner and I up for an amazing experience in which he showed great flexibility and helpfulness. He has a lot of experience and knows the right people in the paragliding world.

Carles picked me up from my hotel and with his pleasing personality, it took me no longer to feel comfortable. We drove for around 2 hours to reach the sky diving destination. On the way, we shared a lot of interesting stories with each other as if we knew each other since a long time. He is a complete people’s person who knows how to stay happy and share the same happiness with the people around. During skydiving prep and after the activity, he was actually there with me like a family member. After that, he knew the cool restaurants to feed the hungry tummies. We had lunch in a very cool and cute restaurant with the village ambience.
Later on we went to Girona beach where we could witness the passionate energies of the people who were parasailing. We ended our day in a very calm and relaxing atmosphere, walking in the forest across the Costa Brava beach and then had yummy dinner with the sea view. :)
He definitely made it an amazing day. I would definitely plan another aerial activity with him. :)

I will remember your trip for a long time, because not only did you do the Skydiving activity but we spent the whole day together, talking about very deep topics and forging a good friendship. Incredible 90min sailplane flight in La Cerdanya. Amazing experience, excellent organisation, unforgettable!
Sergi, a really pro pilot, welcomed us and was totally friendly from the very beginning and during the whole experience.
After a short insurance paperwork I was briefed on how a sailplane flies and how the pilot controls it, seeing and touching the plane and controls and getting a full explanation and kind answer to all my questions.
We took the plane to lane heading and there I got my safety equipment and learn some more details once seated on the front of the sailing plane. The pilot seats behind and has duplicated controls so, if wanted, you can take control of the plane once at a safe altitude and can enjoy piloting yourself (with the pilot closely watching!!) I couldn't believe it! He was constantly checking if I was enjoying, asked me were I wanted to go, let me pilot... We searched for vultures, for lakes pictures, thermal currents, mountain landscapes...
My dream of being a sailplane pilot for a day was more than satisfied, I turned again and again on a thermal current, sailed softly enjoying the landscape and took plenty of fotos from wonderful Pyrenees.
My wife attended all the briefing too, she was allowed very close to the landing and enjoyed too my sailing day, took plenty of videos and saw other pilots, take-offs and landings, flight ambience and even a sailplane looping!
My advice? go for the 45min flight at least, with less than that you won't have time to relax, enjoy, take pictures and build a memory that will last for ever.
Overlooking terrace, bar, restaurant and open air restaurant make id a good day for your family too.
