Poor festival. Feels more like a club - You have better options in the rest of Spain and Europe.
For the rather pricey cost of the ticket and drink there could be more decoration or effects.
The sound system is OK though.
Vibe and crowd are ok-ish, but I used to go to this festival years ago and lately has lost some of the charm.
Some years lineups are not as much leaning to techno as I would like.
Sonar de dia is too much leaning into indie so not my kind of thing, but I respect it must have its public.
A bothersome thing was that access are separated for guys and girls and quite sepparated, which I have never seen and made us lose time

The festival itself was great but unfortunately the wrist bands were an absolute scam. After submitting a refund for the remaining balance in the appropriate time, nothing was ever refunded.

Une édition au rabais à la suite de 2 années d'annulation pour cause de Covid !!!
Nous étions si heureux de pouvoir retourner à ce festival dont nous avions été privé durant 2 années sauf que l'année 2022 de la reprise n'est pas un bon cru !!!
Vente des places surbookée (beaucoup plus de monde que d'habitude)...
Des bars sous dimensionnés et assaillis par les festivaliers (2 ou 3 serveuses débordées pour des dizaines de personnes en attente de rafraichissement) !
Inutile de patienter 40 minutes pour une petite bouteille d'eau chaude à 5€ et une bière imbuvable c'est juste un scandale compte tenu de la température le vendredi.
Des sound systèmes sous dimensionnés, des pannes sur les basses à répétitions au plateau principal de l'amphithéâtre et carrément des coupures de son pour digitalisme sur le plateau du haut !!! Bref cette année ce n'est pas brillante voir TRES décevante, nous nous demandons si nous allons revenir en 2023.
Avis aux organisateurs, ne prenez pas vos fidèles festivaliers pour des imbéciles, ils connaissent parfaitement le spot et se rendent compte immédiatement des économies que vous avez réalisés cette année ! Il ne faudrait pas que cet évènement tombe dans l'oubli parce que les spectateurs sont TRES déçu (à méditer).

Three different stages with a lot of techno music, it is extremely hot inside, I felt like I was suffocating, there is no AC. Last but not least, vodka, gin, and whiskey are 9,5 euros per glass !!!! Personally I didn’t find fun at all.

Hay que distinguir entre el de día y el de noche, ambos son una super fiesta, ya llevo 6 años seguidos y vuelvo para el siguiente, es un poco caro y cada vez esta mas masificado, la noche es de más zapatilla y va lo mejor de lo mejorcito

In the beginning I was not sure 100% if it will be so good, but thanks to my wife we went on sonar day friday and saturday night and it was amazing.
Definitely we will come next year if it will be possible.

I do many many festivals. This year was my first attempt at sonar and I was very disappointed.
The sound quality : it goes from barely ok if you choose a good place on some stage to unbearable for some sets. The main stage is in a huge industrial metallic building, resonance is everywhere, sound is blurry. They don't install any passive acoustic devices like bass traps. Their only answer to bad sound is adding more speakers stronger speakers, that makes more noise and everybody deaf. A festival like this with this level of lineup really deserve some descent sound design. I always stay in front of the soundboard (best place for sound quality in a concert) and even there, half the sets where disappointing.
Another bad point for decoration and activities : for this price I expect something more than direction signs, fake grass, and bits of red carpet. The only thing to do despite dancing is bumpers cars (for a whopping 5€ for 1min16s, yes, they make more than 70000€ over two days on this stand alone). Some flashy decorations, chill place, street artists, maker market, makeup artist, dancers.... anything creative would be welcome.
Organisation is quite OK. waiting time are OK except for food and for the bus between day an night venues. Loading the buses one by one with only the driver being the cashier. For tens thousand persons? Come on, that's ridiculous! maybe a cashless system would solve that.
Security : they were bands of well organised pickpockets inside the site, working in teams of 3 and calling their big tall friend to the rescue when they got caught. And after that they don't allow you to get water bottle caps? What a joke!
Let's compare : For the same price at ozora you got ten days camping included, drinks for half the price, wonderful decorations all over the site so you feel in wonderland, fireshows, dancers, activities all day, incomparable sound quality. So ok artists are not at the same price but there's something to find in between.
The sonar is just a big eartless cash machine. Take a huge place, bring some big names, powerful sound, then stack tourists in it, make them deaf and get the cash...
Still you can enjoy it with friends, if are not on a budget, not picky on sound quality and more clubber than a festival person.

Hemos estado en el Sonar 2018. Lo primero es reseñar las fantásticas actuaciones de LCD Soundsystem, John Talabot, Mode Selector y Damage (también una chica de la que no recuerdo el nombre lo hizo maravillosamente).
El resto, mucha zapatilla y poca clase para lo ha venido siendo el Sonar. Una decepción.
Por otra parte, el sonido de los recintos cubiertos fue horroroso. Muy, pero que muy malo. En los escenarios no techados la cosa cambiaba.
En fin, creo que perdido totalmente la magia y calidad que lo encumbró en pos de vender más entradas. Una pena. No volveremos.

在巴塞隆拿舉行的音樂節目，除了有知名樂團演出，還有不少多元化的音樂節目，如結合豐富視覺效果的音樂劇和電影配樂，愛好音樂的人士，一定聽得如痴如醉。
