Daniel & Lucy were wonderful. The briefing meeting by Lucy was very informative with lots of suggestions. The GPS was helpful but we sometimes got lost because there are so many bike trails intercrossing. The GPS does reroute you & has stops of interest & restaurant recommendations & coffee breaks along the way. It also provides warnings for road crossings & rough terrain. Lucy & Daniel were very quick to respond when we had questions. The bikes were very well maintained. The area was so beautiful! The hotels were perfect with city, country & ocean views. Great variety. Awesome restaurants in this area. We used an e-bike & would highly recommend if you aren't in bike shape.

This is my first bike trip in Spain and I really enjoyed. All hotels are in a good location and some with superb views. Breakfasts are excellent too. The GPS provide by Daniel is so easy to read and follow. I would recommend Creative Catalonia to all my friends.

We have just completed the Girona – Point-to-Point (Moderate), 6 days 5 night self guided tour with Creative Catalonia. Every part of the trip exceeded our expectations. The introduction briefing was thorough, the maps provided were excellent. The bikes were well set up and were in excellent conditions. The routes were amazing and the accommodation was well above what we were expecting. My only regret was it was not long enough and that I did not have more friends on the tour to experience it.

Our cycling tour was great! Daniel is well-organized, very personable, and had arranged all details ahead of time very well. Prior to the trip, and during the trip, he was very responsive and helpful with his communication via email and WhatsApp. Having the GPS pre-loaded with with each daily route made things simple and straightforward during our daily rides. The bikes were of good quality for this type of trip. The hotels along the way that Daniel had reserved were amazing as far as location, views from the rooms, uniqueness, and comfort. We especially enjoyed Hotel Casamar (Llafranc) and Hotel Arcs (Monells). We enjoyed breakfasts and dinners at both. The only negative of our trip was that Mother Nature didn't co-operate on one of our riding days, so we found ourselves riding to/through some beautiful villages but a little cold and wet, unfortunately. I recommend this trip and Creative Catalonia if you want to do any riding in the area.

We've done many European self-guided bike tours (Austria, Italy, Ireland) ... it's a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors, see the country, and experience "like a local." I always use a local travel provider and it takes a lot of research to find the right one ... and I certainly found the right one (after searching through many providers) for our Costa Brava cycling trip. Creative Catalonia did a fantastic job designing our cycling trip. Daniel is an excellent communicator, helping to customize the trip to my specifications (while giving me solid guidance on what to do and where to go). The bikes were excellent. And the GPS navigation was easy-to-use and extremely helpful. My wife and I agreed that this was one of the best self-guided cycling trips we've done. Many thanks to Daniel and the Creative Catalonia team!

Daniel of Creative Catalonia set up an excellent route for our group of 4. Thé equipment was solid, the hotels were terrific and Daniel was available via What’s App. We can recommend Creative Catalonia without reservation.

The tour was well organized and covered so many different spots/landscapes. It was easy to navigate and there were great restaurant/cafe recommendations along the way. The hotels were superb! Daniel was an amazing point of contact and always available if we needed. Highly recommend this tour- it exceeded our expectations!

Daniel's selection of bike routes and hotels were exceptional! Upon our arrival, my husband and I really enjoyed meeting Daniel who gave us a very thorough and detailed briefing of our bike routes. Daniel was also a great correspondent throughout the whole planning process and answered every email enquiry promptly and courteously. We absolutely loved the very scenic bike trails, and all the places we stayed at were a perfect choice for relaxing after a hot day of biking. We would highly recommend Daniel and his company Creative Catalonia, for an amazing and memorable biking experience!

My husband and I have just completed a 6 day guided cycling tour with Daniel. From the minute we made the enquiry to the moment we finished the tour, our experience has been wonderful. We had to reschedule our trip on short notice as we both got sick a week before our original travel dates, Daniel was flexible and worked with us to identify an alternative date. Your guide makes the trip - indeed Daniel was a fabulous guide and a great person to spend 6 days riding with. Importantly, he prioritised our safety when navigating the busy areas and the giant roundabouts. Meticulously planned routes which offered us the opportunity to see and experience Girona on bicycles. We stayed in 3 locations, Girona, S'Agaro along the coast and at Monells a medieval town. All 3 hotels were wonderful hotels of high calibre. High quality bicycles were provided. We've done many guided bike trips, this trip with Creative catalonia has been one of the most enjoyable. If you get Daniel as your guide - this guy is a genuinely nice guy and goes out of his way to make your trip a memorable one.

It was an absolute pleasure to guide for the two of you. It was a fantastic week with some very memorable rides, especially along the Tossa de Mar coastal road and finishing off the week with the Els Angels Monastery climb!

My wife and I have just returned from an 8 day Girona point-to-point road cycling tour with Daniel. It was absolutely amazing! Daniel has planned everything meticulously, was flexible with our requests and proved to not just an excellent cycling guide but also a great person to spend 8 days together. The 8 day itinerary was very diverse with road rides near Girona, two days by the sea and two days in medieval villages. The highlights were a Tossa de Mar ride with astonishing views (we had to work for them with frequent climbs) and the last day Els Angels climb from Monells. Hotels were good as well with Arcs in Monells being the best. We highly recommend the tour and if you choose a private-guided option you will surely enjoy it.

Hi As Susan has said cycling is really easy in this area. the railway track cycle is something else to ride on too.. If you call Daniel of Creative Catalonia (see his website) he will help. He is a great guy, very generous.. and an Australian to boot!!! Happy cycling.
